Beautiful, they've come to restore the Earth... would love to see them physically, i've never actually seen white Ravens before... yet i've always been drawn to them, as i feel attached to them on a deep level that doesn't quite have words.
Beautiful birds. I have an African hybrid Raven named Huginn. He is an amazing bird. Though he can be moody, and a butthole, he is very bonded to me. Corvids make very interesting pets, but they are NOT for everyone. Currently I am trying to get a hold of a breeder in Africa who sells stark white Ravens. I don't yet know if they are true albino's or have the recessive white coat blue eyes gene. The BC Ravens I have seen in pics have the blue eyes. Real beautiful birds.
There are very LARGE Crow's out there. Some as in my back yard for example, reaching there maximum 20in body size on 3ft wingspans. However...As i've always said too people, when you see a Raven out in the wild, you'll know the differences, between it and a Crow, VERY quickly.......!!!!
You are VERY BLESSED, to have these white beauties gracing there presence for you!!! I've been in the avian field, for over 15+yrs now, and only dream of seeing a "normal" color variant much less a white bird. I know some people think there Crow's, but i've tried explaining to them the differences. For starters, the size difference, gutteral "croak call", diamond or wedge-shaped tail, there ability to soar like birds of prey, etc...Consider yourself VERY blessed & lucky..............
grenzeloos, it's not quite an albino because it has dark eyes, they call it «leucistic». But it's otherwise white all over, so pretty much the opposite of a normal raven. Amazing to see! Like seeing a legend come alive!
When I first saw this bird from afar I figured it was a raven due to it's size and it was flying with another black raven. As soon as I watched it tuck it's wing and roll in the air. Then it was very obvious.
to me they are amazing, i will probably never see anything like them ever again in my life, i am truly glad i have the experience to study how they live. I have ALWAYS loved ravens but never really studied them until now.
Woah...
