Am I the only one who noticed the Memory Melody in the first few notes? No one else has pointed it out, so I guess I will.
If you listen real carefully to the first few notes, you hear the Memory Melody, which implies that the person that taught you that song (I can't remember which one it was, they took the Wind Melody item and the Key To Edward's Prison) came from the Native's Village.
@TheAzureKnighthood I believe the person's name was Sam. You rescue him at the very end of the Diamond Mine. And if I remember right he does mention being traded as a slave from the Native's Village.
