Amen, amen! Gail6344 you hit the nail on the head. YES, we seniors are starved for the music we use to listen to on the radio, before the Boobtube came along. The real shame is it NOT only on TV, but had infiltrated our CHURCHES taking away the essence of a worshipful attomopher. I love the saying that used to be on the fans in the pews (remember the hand fans), "If you must speak, whipser. If you must whisper, whisper a prayer." Amen, amen!!!!

@LadyG8r74 Senior?!?! What about my generation? Young men my age don't know gospel music. They know rock music. Doesn't even mention Jesus's name. I mean, if it was played in a Mosque would a Muslim know the difference. I think the enemy has slipped in.

Alan's voice is well suited for gospel music you can feel his faith in his songs, as well as his great country music, I'd love to see a second gospel album. We seniors are STARVED for the music we grew up hearing, and the new praise stuff just does not have the same meaning. It is just repeating a chorus over and over. We went to see the Gaither's when they were in MS this year we FROZE at 55 degree stadium, several were taken out by ambulance as Stadiums aren't senior friendly. Praise JESUS

I REMEMBER GROWING UP WHEN I HAVE LOST BOTH OF MY PARENT AT THE AGE OF 8 {DAD DIE} AND 12 {MOM DIE}.
