  • totally love this!

  • Someboday asked where shana was.....Raya was her replacement when Shana was off being a fashion designer

  • hahaha, I love it!

  • Wish I'd been there!!!

  • The killer thing is the costumes are pretty good, and they freaking have "DANCE" and "CLASH" in there for the nerds that really know the show. Freakin Hilarious.

  • @captainkyafox But no Aja =/

  • Sweetness ! He shouldve said Jerrica - Jem in the beginning lol not the other way around, but oh well. This is great, wish i had been there. Genious. I still keep a small hope that Hasbro will take another look at their Jem plans that they supposedly scrapped after the first Transformers cartoon where teh kiddies didnt take Prime's death so well x.x haha. damn. Transformers and GI Joe are all well and good, but this would make my world.

  • OMG, I LOOOOOVE Jem and the Holograms.

It's a totally awesome show, and this is an awesome skit.

  • That was so great!! I wish I could have been there. The costumes are amazing!! A lot of very hard work was put into this! LOVE IT!!

  • the cloths were AWESOME!! I think it would have been great if everybody droped the instriments and started wailing on eachother. The wigs were great too.

  • This is so cool,I have always loved JEM and still watch her,I noticed Shana wasnt included.guess this was during the time when she left the Holograms to be a designer for Liz Stration-lol

  • Great deduction, I was wondering about Shana'a absence too..

  • Had to comment a second time - just saw the Danse bit - that was HILARIOUS when Danse was running about the stage behind Jem and Co with the streamers, SO SPOT ON!! Too funny. Brilliant job guys.

  • I love how the costumes replicated ones from the actual show - the outfits and look are fantastic! I almost cheered out loud when the Misfits came out. Especially since you included Clash! Very awesome!!

  • That was so freakin' awesome! Whoever made the costumes is very talented.

  • How awesome was that!!! Laughed so hard seeing Danse parading around!! Love the fact that the costumes were actually ones used in the cartoon. Am a massive fan (for a boy). Grew up watching it from the age of about 11. Watch wanna watch it again and again!! ;-) Fave Jem song was "You Already Know".

  • does anyone know how i can i contact hasbro because i have some ideas for new charactors for jem

  • Good Job!! It's nice to bring back chidhood nostalgia. Nicely done.

  • Man that was awesome, and I loved that they had Danse, Clash and Jetta in on the action. Really broght back the memories of when I used to go out for Halloween dressed as the Holograms hehe.

  • My childhood has returned!!

  • I totally love this! I am glad to know there are still SOME Jem fans out there that will cosplay her. We dont see alot of Jem nowadays so its great to see cosplays of Jem and the others. I grew up with the cartoon, always belived (as it was 'advertised') I would be a singer like Jem, I even had the microphone that was brought out. XD; Anywho, great cosplay, would love to see more Jem cosplays in future, they are SO needed. *still an obbsesed fangirl of Jem at heart XD*

  • i would love to be there !

  • Oooo!! I'm so excited to read all of the positive feedback we received for our skit.

Thanks everybody for the wonderful praises!!

  • Love the authentic Jerrica-to-Jem poses! Don't ya wish they'd make a Jem: The Musical???

  • wow congrats!!!! drop me a message whowcer was in charge of it

  • Sorry for the late delay by I was the coordinator but we all worked on it together. I'm glad you enjoyed it. We might be performing it again (hopefully longer version) at the Jemcon next year in september.

  • that was great but you should have found two people to play senergy and shana

  • Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. We all worked hard on making it true to the Jem series. We had a hard time finding a shana but I dont think synergy was realy needed. No one ever mentions an Eric Raymond :p.

  • Fabulous! Love the added touch of Danse twirling ribbons--very Get In Shape Girl.

  • This is amazing guys, congrats!!

  • That was outrageous. Glad to see Jem is still kicking. Love the 80s & 70s cartoons. Nothing compares to what those decades cranked out.

  • Here's a comment from a regular cosplayer regarding what they planned to do at that very same con:

"<i>[...] it's nice to know that a rather large group pulled together for Jem! My best friend and I were going to do a Jem & <b>Shana</b> duo for the con, but couldn't get it together in time.</i>"

  • And if you want to see a pic of the two that were planning to do the Jem/Shana duo, google "divajezebel" on LiveJournal and go to her page. I'm not gonna bother with a direct link to it, but a picture is posted of the two of them sitting on the bus together among the journal entries that coincide roughly with the date this YouTube vid was posted. Let's hope they can pull it together for next year!

  • OMG AMAZING!

  • Damn! The one year I don't go to the masquerade they have a Jem one?! Thanks so much for posting it! It's Outrageous ;D

  • OMG!!! Awesome! Fabulous work on the costumes! I'm so impressed! ^o^ Hooray for Jem fans!

  • Pretty good customes. Glad they had Danse and Clash. Yeah too bad they didn't have Shana.

  • well technically, this could have taken place when Shana was doing the designer thing... but still. :\ And yea, those costumes were right on point, they looked like the real outfits!

  • That is what I figured.

  • Here is the official explanation as to why Shana never made it into the Cosplay, from Mandy Mitchell, the organizer, who happened to play Kimber in the skit:

"<i>I tried really hard to recruit a Shana for the skit. One couldn't make it to Comic Con. The other had a prior commitment as a stage ninja for another skit.</i>"

You can find a link to the source of where that explanation was obtained if you go to my profile; it's the "official website" listed on it.

  • And I'm glad they didn't try to pass off that lame line about Shana working for Liz Stratton as seen in "Talent Search", because as we know, Danse was never in that episode, and neither was Clash. A little bit of related trivia: Danse has never met the Misfits face-to-face, although they've been in the same episode together, with the dancer and the rival group always in separate locales from each other.

  • Where the hell is Shana?

  • Just to make a correction, I wasn't the organizer of the skit. The Jem and the Pizzazz in the skit were the organizers.

  • OK, thanks for the clarification. Hopefully the three of you (or whomever will be involved) can all put your heads together to make it possible for there to be a Shana next year, and even if you guys aren't personally involved you can relay the obstacles you face this time to them so they will have the benefit of your experience to give it the added effort to make the inclusion of Shana a reality. Once again, great job!

  • outrageous

  • A frellin +!

  • thats my girls!! WOOO MY GIRLS!!
