yeah man, dont even read stupid comments, they probaly never even drove x5 thats all, really i have 3.0i and yeah ofcourse its slower than 4.4 but it takes less gaz,and with todays prices that a really good think, plus i ve been racing with other suvs and havent lost so far,
3.0i is very good engine and its not slow... it have 224HP and 231HP and the X5 is over 2000kg so 8.5 seconds is very fast... this engine take less fuel on 100km... something about 12 - 13 liter or 20 MPG... thats very good... 3.0i rulez :D

8.5 sec, i had same car. was silver X5 3.0i with manual gearbox. for 100 km i need only 12,7 liters.
with automatic i think you need like 14 liters on 100 km
