oh,I never watched the tv show, but i noticed it just ended last year I believe. anyhow I hope Parenthood continues for years. Ron was just on ET I do believe talking about the characters and how parenting is so different for so many different people. there are so many different ways to raise a child. I know he married his child hood friend and high school sweet heart and they have 5 kids I do believe and his daughter is the red head in the movie "the help" and that movie is wonderful. .
Jason wrote the movie or the tv show "Friday night lights' my favorite country music singer was in the movie ,he played a drunk. Ron Howard directed the video to "where are you Christmas" which had my favorite male singers wife singing that song. so I am a huge fan of Ron,he is an expert in family matters. he was raised right.
@myrarobinson42 The show. He did? I love that song. Ron is a genius. Everyone who works on Parenthood knows their stuff. I think that's why it's so special and real. They try really hard and know about family on a deeper level than most superficial family shows. I hope it gets renewed for season 4!
I am so curious about the actor who plays the boy with ashberger. I wonder if he is really an actor or if he is an actor who actually has that condition. I cannot tell. ashberger's disease is much like autism,I have 3 grandsons with that condition. If I am spelling it wrong,I am sorry,or do they call it asburger syndrome.
@myrarobinson42 He's just an amazing young actor. Jason Katims' son has Asbergers so the script for him is really well written and the actor studies the syndrome. There are tons of interviews with him where he talks about how he is able to play the character so well. I am your hookup for like any info on this show. I'm beyond obsessed with it. have you seen the ad for next season? the woman on this show who is dating Jason Ritters character, is being replaced by a girl who use to be on a doctor show. I think her name is Lauren.
@myrarobinson42 Lauren Graham replaced Maura Tierney in the first season after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. They did film the pilot with Maura but when she had to leave they had to reshoot it so there are ads and commercials with her cuz she was originally supposed to do it.
@rentgrl123 , I have been watching from the beginning but I never noticed they had changed in the first season. I am truly sorry for the cancer problem. I absolutely love all the actors male and female on the show and I just never noticed. I feel bad cause I never noticed.

I've watched it from the beginning too and now that it's in its third season it's hard to imagine that anyone on the cast wasn't an original choice especially Lauren because she's my favorite character. I'm a huge LG fan lol. I only knew because I watch tons of interviews and behind the scenes stuff so don't feel bad
