I'm not sure if there still exists copies of the DVD but your best bet is a torrent of Talking Pictures. There are two parts (around 8 GBs in total) to the torrent, which you could probably find on ThePirateBay
Utterly brilliant compilation. Captures the Bonzos in all their anarchic glory, from the slapstick to the bizarre, but all in great fun. Some of the bits I'd like to see more of, such as the one where they are upside down - is that on the DNAYS DVD set and I missed it?? Well done, very musical visuals, and a great tribute to a great bunch of nutters! I'll repeat that...
Over 14,000 views and NO DISLIKES - that's pretty fucking remarkable! This is an awesome video compilation, especially for anyone not familiar with the Bonzos.
A damn good video MsBluecat! They really were uniquely brilliant and completely off their heads - and I like to think I'm the same for loving them so much. We shall not see Viv's like again but on retrospect it's probably for the best - I don't think he'd like the world much any more.
@Gyphia The Beatles didn't rip them off, but you can't deny that the band became very eclectic in 1967. Would there be a "Honey Pie", or a "Savoy Truffle" on "The Beatles" (White Album) without the Bonzos? Does "We Are Normal" exist without Frank Zappa's "Freak Out"?? It can work both ways. The Beatles wouldn't have used the Bonzos in "MMT" if they didn't like them. What about "You Know My Name? (Look Up the Number)"? The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band changed the Beatles.
@tickedoffnow I like it and I'm not on drugs. There are plenty of examples of musicians (and listeners) who do weird shit and don't do drugs (Frank Zappa, Sun Ra, etc.).
Possibly the 'rip-off' comment is to do with Neil Innes having all of his songwriting royalties from The Rutles seized in a lawsuit claiming that his parady of The Beatles style was so authentic that it amounted to mere pastiche, and that therefore he hadn't actually written any of the songs, The Beatles had. A massive miscarriage of justice, IMO. 'Ripped off' is putting it mildly – though to be clear, it wasn't the Beatles themselves who brought the suit.
I recorded a cover of this (without saxes) a few years ago, just to see what I could do with it. It's just as chaotic with me and my friends goofing off on the vocals. It turned out pretty good.
Oh, Thank you! ....I`m SO pleased my earliest televisual memories are of this lot ( a FUN repressed memory....) The Beatles ripped them off SO badly. -If life is a competition to see who can have the most fun, the Bonzos must come at least in the top 329. my new favourite youtube clip. <*¬)X::::
Been a mad Bonzo fan since DNAYS (1968) - this a great compilation of film-bits - well done mate . . . keep up the good work - and thanks

These days, you can only get away with this sort of behaviour in the House of Commons. (That's where they keep all the common folk).

Great video-material. Apparently, lots of old Bonzo-footage has been preserved.
There should be a DVD full of it!
