You didnt have to use the inverter or repeaters all you had to do is have a line of redstone from the lever then split that line into two lines that go to the pistons. it would only take 14 redstone.

Have sticky pistons, with 3 tall fence.

Then always have them on so the fence is up,

have the piston three blocks underground so once fence is never seen, then when pulled back, there will be one fence above ground. If she cant get over that, then just ride her over it.

You should put a door on the inside of your house leading to the pen and wire the gate so the lever is on the inside so you can stay mounted and hit the lever otherwise your gonna have to push her back into the pen all the time

The reason you can't use the pressureplates is because of a bug within minecraft. The same happens when leaving or entering the nether. There is a certain time, which is short, where you can't use them for some reason.

@zack1913 What? No it didn't. The problem was the block next to the piston. It got powered, which powered the piston.

And the redstone torch is called an AND-Gate, it's useful and required if he wanted to use anything else than a lever. Please, he knows a lot more of redstone than you do, and so do I.

@MrSneakymode My bad bro, I dunno why I called it an AND gate, I know it's an inverter, as that's the only thing it does. It's really useful. I used it before repeaters where added to make the current go past 15 blocks.

I have a mine that uses it to change the way the minecart will go all the way down in the mine.

It goes all the way down to 10 blocks above bedrock.
