pretty positive Division is a reference to Joy Division, this song is about MJQ concourse in atlanta where Jordan and the rest of the are from, and it would be completely normal to walkin into a Joy Division track being played.
If you found a copy of L.A. Riots remix, and played it through something with better bass than the tweeters next to your computer;you would get the true experience, love it.
@dynamik008 I apologise,Le Castle Vania remix is on the L.A Riots disc.I found it from some random Sion dealership; It has Building Blocks from,uh some band whose name escapes me at the moment,It's a great mix album anyway.
@randomguy983 I was looking for a LA Riots remix, lol. No wonder why I never found it. Anyways, I guess were both talking about LCV's remix. Good stuff. If you like that, I recommend Treasure Fingers' remix of another Snowden song called "Anti-Anti"
good song. did not like the end but once you listen to it and get the lyrics kinda grows on you. does remind you of some parties or clubs and people you meet, when your looking for someone not like everyone else.
Just so you know, "Oriental" should only be used to refer to a style, such as oriental rug, lamp, etc. It is insulting when used to refer to a person. Not flaming you, most people don't realize that so I feel obligated to inform. Cheers!
never even knew these guys were on the planet untill i was watchin an episode of drive thru south africa, to bad mtv doesnt play good music like this.
This song has such an exciting energy. It turns me on. };-> Almost can't tell what decade it is from. I like that. I like their other stuff too. They could break out a bit, but whatever. Cool.
i disagree greatestdane i dig their tunes too and thing its great that they use the same style all the time, i cant imagine them using a different style .
I saw these guys because of a Kings of Leon tour thing, and they were there. I really dig their tunes, but it becomes like listening to AC/DC, if you listen for too much it'll get on your nerves because they use the same effects in every song.
Snowden is badass, the only reason I found out who they were is from the Le Castle Vania remix on some random podcast. good song tho'. the original is soo much better than the remix.
omg. I thought I was the only one ever heard of Snowden. I have their album and I personally think that the song Anti-anti is better. ^^ But this song is also great. ;P
not lyrically, but musically. don't get me wrong, i've already downloaded it....it's a good tune, however, it goes downhill at around 2:35 - 2:40 with an unecessarily convoluted ending. the beauty of the first half is the simple energy of it. this song goes from a tight, upbeat, energetic number into an airy, dreampoppy sound w/too many intruments. they threw everything in besides the kitchen sink at the end imho.
i disagree, i think that at 2.35 there's a climax bringing the listener to a different point of the story and to different feelings. the guitar riff gives me the creeps.
Hey where can i download this?

Bands grow, dude. I think these guys will be just a little more dynamic than AC-DC and their time together grows. kinda of a low-blow on your part.
