I also have a tendency to play it a little fast, what I like best about your version, you put some of Terry Clement's lead in with Gord's guitar part, I do have to say that all of Gord's material does sound better on Martins, I have both Taylor's and Martins and mostly use the Martin's to play his work.

Absolutely beautiful my friend!  The only thing I would suggest is to avoid cutting your phrases too short, let them hang a bit longer. Very very nice!

Exactly right... he's got an great voice for doing this song. It makes you want him to linger a bit more on the last syllable of each phrase. Shoot.. make the whole song last a tab bit longer with a slightly slower tempo too.
