I had hip surgery myself about a month ago now. its been a slow recovery but I hope to be up and walking at some point this week. I cant imagine having to get my other one done too - best of luck for a speedy recovery.
I must be the exception to the rule I had this done on April 8 th and I was doing pretty good but for some unknown reason my hip dislocated on the 17 th of March I was in the hospital flat on my back for the next 3 weeks and I am still having a great deal of pain I can't sleep more than and hour at a time or sit for more than a half hour I am thinking I didn't chose a very good surgeon what do all of you think about all the trouble I am having anyone else gone though any thing like this
@jimdnm Wow.. I am sorry to hear about that!!! I was blessed with a fantastic surgeon and 3yrs later I feel better than ever!! Stay strong my friend and contact me anytime..
Wow nice to be pain free huh!?. I think my right hip is on the way out now but I dont have health insurance anymore so I'm pretty much screwed for a while until the Gov gets things setteled with a plan we all can afford ,, not just the rich or politicians and people with jobs that pay for it. They have nothing to worrie about and dont want a gov plan, how about the millions of us who dont? Great to see your success!! Keep on truckin!!

you seem kinda long to have this operation done. COuld be worse. I had my left replaced at age 14! Sad.

what does kinda long mean? You really had your hip replaced at 14??
derekb456 4 years ago
my bad i meant to say "young". Sorry typo error
Yes i had it done at 14 thanks to juvenile arthritis.
