I think the band just wanted a change of direction with their music.

Its not as good as when they were screaming, but as long as they still sound good enough for peoples to buy their shit, why stop?

alex' singing voice is crap. don't try to tell me that his voice is worn out from all the touring... when your voice is tired it doesn't make you tone-deff... and it's harder to sing highpitch as he does at the end of the first verse that the the beginning of it... he's literary tone-deff, ok? Brandon on the other hand has got a great voice, although it's hard for him to give a 100% while he's at the drums... try to sing while you're driving over a speed-bump...
