I am immensely looking forward to this game, but it sounds like Bethesda are moving away from what the team originally wanted from an RPG, and towards a more commercial action-adventure game with elements from the likes of Crysis. The look and feel is also more sort of rugged and.. American, whereas definitely Oblivion was about gently breezing through European-looking lush countryside.

But this kinda sours me on bethesda, I have been playing TES series since daggerfall way back when it was on PC and have always been a fan. Will I still buy Skyrim?...yes. Will I buy the DLC since they just slapped us pc gamers in the face? Nope. I will just download the community stuff. And yes, I have a PC, PS3, and a 360, and play them all. I prefer PC graphics and mods though when possible.

Unless all my friends play on one of the consoles. Microsoft has the money to throw around to buy the rights for the DLC for 30 days, so what, its 30 days, I highly doubt if you don't own a 360, after 15-20 days of the original game your going to be so bored you curse Bethesda for the DLC deal with Microsoft. If anyone here remembers the old games from Bethesda they know its not the kind of game you rush through to complete the story and then collect the achievements you missed along the way.

I had both but the PS3 is so pony I sold it. 360 is brilliant, Skyrim is gonna be brilliant. The only reason to own a PS3 is for Uncharted. 2 weeks until Dead Island, that will kerp me occupied until Skyrim comes out. @malivaxx Well, No I did not, but that doesn't neccesarily change anything.. Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3 all hapened under Todd Howard and Bethesda and so is Skyrim so I doubt one Lead dev walking out is going to crumble the game. Take Fallout: New Vegas for example, wasn't even made by Bethesda only published and yet the game was just like Fallout 3. So all of this may look new and maybe too different from the past TES games but I think its going to be good
