i have a project due next tuesday where i have to build a DNA model, so i was searching around the internet and came across your video. Great Work :) this was awesome!
I can't help it. These nerdy science videos keep happening. Evidence being the Nikola Tesla rap I made about a month ago...the ideas just appear and before I know it, I'm editing the video right before my eyes!
By the way do u know what materials i could use 2 make a DNA molecule (double helix) only smaller only using recycle or found materials that can be taken to school.
By the way that look pretty and neat (when done)
If anyone knows how 2 do that can U give me any ideas? ; )
toothpicks, buttons, and glue...or cardboard, ping pong balls (painted), and school glue...or wire, old CDs, and hot glue...hope that helps...that's all I could think of that most people would have laying around at random that would actually work
eh perhaps, but getting a 99% on it with 5 extra points (total project of 80 points) on it because the teacher didn't quite know what I was going for is good, plus I got to show off my mac video making skills, which is always fun
Well...what I meant was, I don't see the connection between the various composer pictures you used for the project and the DNA acids. The connection, I think, was in your imagination. I wasn't trying to be flippant. What do you see as the connection? How did you conceive the connection? It's interesting, and I iked the little asides about the composers, I just don't get the connection.
And congrats on the grade. It looks like you put in a lot of work on it.
oh, well, first off, you don't have to worry about being flippant, especially to me, ^_^ I usually just shrug it off and get on with my life, and I really didn't think to hard about the connections, mainly because it was 9-o-clock the night before it was due (yea, I procrastinate) and was in a rush to get it started so I just picked a handful of composers/John Hodgman (who semi-fictitiously play the viola as a child) and pasted them onto foam core then onto the wire structure,no more words left
ho ho, hahaha that was funny

Composers and the component acids of a DNA molecule? I don't get the connection. I think it's all in your head.

wow, 320 views, that's pretty impressive for a video about a high school DNA project
