btw, my religion has nothing to do with why I "promote war". That is something that has more to do with who I am as a person. my religious beliefs are against the idea of war, unless it is in self defense of course. But I wouldnt expect you to know that. If someone kills my family, I'd hope they'd get the death penalty. and my religion does not support that. Those are my political views. So know that politics and religion do not mix...please, just stop talking like you know something.

So, I'm just curious. Let's say for example, that it was us that was under the control of a dictator who used WMD's to kill hundreds upon thousands of Americans. A dictator that invades Mexico or Canada and rapes, murders and robs. Are you saying that you wouldn't want someone to help us? If your family was being murdered, you'd not want someone to help you? Hey what's even funnier... Obama's Commerce Secretary had to resign because he's under investigation by the Justice Department. And why would he resign if he was innocent? His Treasury Secretary didn't pay his taxes because he says he didn't know he had to pay them (WTF?). His Attorney General represented Chiquita (a fruit company... ironic) for funding and supporting a terrorist organization. More to come. Is the entire party corrupt?

What you mean to say is that Obama's NOMINATION for Commerce Secretary (Bill Richardson) withdrew his nomination because of a conflict of interest. So if your outraged about that you must have really really been outraged the last 8 years of Bush and overall Republican rule?

Yes, withdrew is more accurate, however, "conflict of interest" is a little inaccurate. The correct term would be under allegations of "another pay to play" scandal. Wall Street Journal, January 17, 2009. The original charges came about from a major campaign contributor winning a lucrative state contract. He denies any wrong doing, but withdrew nonetheless. Why would he withdraw from a cabinet position if he were innocent?

Other than that the obvious reason he could withdraw even though he feels he was innocent is that even the appearance of being guilty could give the appearance of helping to tarnish Obama's message.
