Quick question, does this weaken the metal like say if u lean or press on the spot where the dent was removed will it press in or is it just a strong from the factory? Im lookin to have this done to my truck. Thanks!
@DentDevilsDevon The dent was finished. Maybe not entirely in that scene but as you notice, i pan the lines in the final shot.. it was indeed gone. But thanks for commenting.
Myke, I have a small dent in my door just like that one, actually, a bit smaller than the one in your video. How much time did it take you to get that dent out?
very nice video!!!thanks....hoping to learn this year 2010.working 1 hour every night...what do i need to concentrate the most on?i have been in the auto business 9 years doing bumpers and windshield repair, nobody in my area will train so i'm going to learn on my on....ready for some better money!!!!
So how long does it take someone to learn PDR? Are there schools for this sort of thing? I'm sure the video makes it look easier than it really is. That's a really smart idea to use lines reflected in the metal surface rather than just trying to directly look at the metal surface itself. Without reflections you'd never see the fine details of the abnormalities.
Hi, you did a good job, i'm doing this for over 1 year and i didin't get a good job yet, but i almost get there, so have you some advice for me? I m from Brazil- Rio de Janeiro. Thanks.
I do have some advice. Move your board outward from the dent and look for more detail. Switch sides and cross check your work. Stay eye level across your dent when you are looking at your reflection and take your time. Don't push if you are not sure. Learn tool applications, your reflection and be patient.
@denttime how do i know which end of the tools is used which appropriate time.. i need guidence jedi please help... if you can email me directly at tovmasyan22@hotmail.com would be great thanks
Technically it took me 17 years. But to answer your question, yes it took a short time to remove. But again, it's because speed comes with experience. This repair cost was $200 on a $180K ride.

Dents occur in new cars because the metal is so F$%king thin it dents staring at it. My old Chevy was dent proof.
Walmart didn't phase it.
