  • what lovely picture's. shame they cover all the crack's !!

  • south africa is a beautifull country, just a shame about the people thou.

  • I'm a coloured (not a racist term in South Africa) guy and racism is specific to the individual. Black people can be as or even more racist than Afrikaners. You can't say at all that it's only white people who are racist. It's bad on all sides and blacks who weren't even alive during Apartheid use it as an excuse to be racist assholes sometimes. So just stfu if you don't know anything about our country. At least racism is adressed here as an issue and not hidden behind the curtain as in others.

  • @LukeTheFisher Well said

  • PRETORIA!!! Must see place. Def stop at Hatfield when you r there! Go BULLS!!

  • Wouw South Africa looks great =) totaly the good life . I only hope that rasism will stop there . why do people care about any race at all if you born black your black if you born white your white who cares try to have a happy life be colour blind if it must everyone is there for a reason .

  • @888Julias Hell yeah!!

  • @blackandproud75 Anyway, as fun as this was. I will now remove your comments for hateful speech, and spam (I checked your recent activity).

  • @blackandproud75 The white, shitty western nations that you're flocking to? So why is it that you want to come here?

  • @blackandproud75 So what you're saying is, that black people have more children with white people, and move to countries of white origin?

  • @thelooker28? No its the other way around, white people left more molotos or colourds children in Cape town South Africa, Cape Verde, Cape Coast Ghana, Namibian Basters and Bulawayo coloreds in second largest city in southern Zimbabwe.

  • Blacks are the one's who are racist....acting like the own the things white people build becauze they are black and not white.

  • OK - I had a quick look on the net - some of your pics for Port Elizabeth are actually taken in St Vincent and the Grenadines!

  • @boereboere Ah, my bad.

  • Please tell me where that Port Elizabeth is - with the nice palm trees and wooded slopes - it's not the PE in the Eastern Cape ............

  • @boereboere When I made this video I didn't live in SA anymore, so all the photos are from google images. So I can't be sure they're correct.

  • YAY im going to Uni in SA, i cant wait only 18months to go!!

  • @aussieebabe good luck, always remember, as in any other country, there are some really good people to meet, and there are really bad people to meet.

I hope you meet the good ones.

  • @thelooker28 thankyouu xx mee too ( : heheh

  • @aussieebabe Which one you going to? I'm at Stellenbosch

  • who cares the media is fooling the westerners not anyone else...because westerners can be manipulated into anything

  • @frequenceez Well sometimes people believe what the media say, and it's not just in the west, all over the world you get people who believe everything they hear.

I've been asked a few times in the UK to speak South African, I have to explain there's no language called "South African"

  • I think it's so cool that someone is so proud of their country that they even make a motivational video about it. I love South Africa too man, it's where I belong. We all need to be as positive as this person and strive for change and together we can make a difference...what else can we do. After all...what good's a cynic with no better plan.

  • finally someone with vision!!

The western media is so biased....they always want to make countries like SA look like shit...e.g Australia...I'm currently in aus and u might think that it is all perfect, well its not....I went to an aboriginal community today and the living conditions there are preposterous....and yet Aus calls its self a 1st world country when innocent people live in conditions worse than 3rd world.the western media is a biased piece of shit and should go fuck themselves

  • I don't get why the Western media is obsessed with showing bad things about Africa, when something positive happens in S.A they wont report it, personally I think our country is overexposed, if you think about it it's one of the most popular in Africa so whenever something happens it's televised but you hardly see the BBC doing documentaries in countries like Gabon or Cameroon.

  • hi i really don't know how my comment on another video end up under this video as you can tell so to those people wondering wtf i am talking about it was a video about why black people in south Africa hate white people hope i can find the video and put a link hope this get posted in the right section this time you tube

  • I think the pics of Durban were the best.but thats because i was born there:)

  • Loved the vid but now i'm home sick as hell for the country that adopted me when my own kicked me in the teeth.

It's a shame that so many judge S.A. & it's people by the actions & attitudes of a few when it is such a fantastic place with people that are the worlds best be they black, white coloured, asian or pink with blue spots.

Before people judge & make comments they should go there, meet the people & soak it all in. then I for one would be willing to listen to them.

    Go well Boks.

  • @Roiitokoloshe to true

  • i don't get it you white people treat black people like shit when you were in power and now you are surprise that not every black person will be nice to you, remember treat people they way you would like to be treated it as simple as that.

  • @foxblack1968 The problem is right there, It's not white people who treat black people like shit, it was the white people in power that treated black people like shit. It's never everyone, I don't have a problem with a black person, unless he's (or she) got a problem with me.

  • @foxblack1968 not every white south african is rasist. It mostly the bours who are.

And im a south african and i know how things are.so dont go saying white south africans are rasist befor you have you facts straite

  • @ROFLREJECT mostly the boers???? WTF? I think it is really unfair to make a statment like that!!!!

  • @ROFLREJECT the bours?? Oh my god... You say you south african? Rather look at yourself before you accuse others of racism..

  • @ROFLREJECT Im afrikaans i am not racist, your the racist for saying the boers are racist!

  • @ROFLREJECT Please fix your grammar issues before posting a comment

  • @foxblack1968 wtf are u trying to say?

  • @foxblack1968 Get over yourself... Yawnn....

  • @foxblack1968 and what about us that were toddlers in those days? do we deserve the same treatment?

  • @foxblack1968 and what about us that were toddlers in those days? do we deserve the same treatment?

  • This video is eye candy, its easy to show pretty photos of any country, this vid is completely abstracted from the real life in SA, full of stress, crime and aids, and forgot to mention just full of black people who seem to be racist towards white people.

  • @CzechTech7 Yes I agree.. but that's also what you see on tv

What I did for this video is.. I went on Google, and I searched the names of the cities I would include, and used the pictures that resulted.

  • @thelooker28 Ok then, I understand now where you're coming from. Wasn't trolling you, thanks for clearing this up.

  • @CzechTech7 shut up and get your facts straite

  • Thankyou thankyou thankyou !!! I'm a southafrican and veryone thinks it's a jungle but they don't know it's more than that!

  • Comment removed

  • @WOAHitsKemo finnaly somone i can realate to

  • I recently returned from a trip home after ten years......it was rather disappointing seeing the neglect in some areas. Driving in the traffic one quickly notices the aggressive driving styles and total lack of traffic laws............. and I am putting it rather mildly.

It is not a normal society ....crime rapes murders are nearly normal. The biggest difference I noticed was that blacks now openly express their hate for other races. Sad sad.

  • @tdevry yes i agree.but if your realy south african you will make a joke about it its the only thing we can do

  • That chairlift over the fair is pretty sweet

  • @GodsS0N1 That's not a fair, it was always like that :)

(I think it opened on weekends)

  • SA, my dream country! It's so amazing and beautiful, beyond words...

  • Well, i sure hope so!

For the sake of my family who still have to live here!

  • @Aalexdurrant7

Definately S.A, im going back home soon, UK is turning into a hell-hole.

I hate it, and many others do too.

  • Well hopefully the tories will make difference (if the get elected)

  • 1 in 3 south african men have raped someone.

  • where'd you hear that?

  • @PolarAtom - If the shit you are talking is true (which is not)...I can understand why, according to you, 1 in 3 SA men are rapists - because I have been to your pathetic orwellian little shithole you call Britain and I have seen your women......who in their right fucking mind wants to rape that!!

  • @PolarAtom ja thats bull shit hey

  • fuck yal south africa is the best country in the world!

  • fuck lawless south africa

  • South Africa doesn't suck, just half the people living in it

  • makes me proud :) SA has many problems but i still love SA

  • Proud South African here, in the South African Playground Durban.

  • Cool, I spent my childhood there (0-10)

Then I moved to Pretoria (10-14)

Now I'm in the UK, Nearly 16 now. (I made a mistake while signing up to YouTube).

  • hi kent.."D//....cool u put a vid up about sa nice...

    (we know eachother)

u can guess who it is right?.......starts with a j...ends with a esse....?

  • Do you prefer SA or UK?

I'm from the UK planning on emigrating to SA

  • They both have pros and cons, I wouldn't be the right person to ask

  • 4:50 I love that Joko Gold advert. For an SA advert, that is a classic example of British humour- or maybe British and SA humour are just similar!

  • Well I find British stuff funny, so long as it's not below the belt, and not too much swearing

  • Must confess- love and miss SA badly! spent there 18 months of my life and never been happier

  • The only thing missing in foreign countries is American Football, a strong dose is needed, trust me, Rugby looks like fun, but I like the extra bang pads give. Random comment

  • cool.

I'm getting a good dose of Afrikaans while playing Far Cry 2.

  • me 2, love the the merc's commentary but hate the head shot does not = to a kill

  • Thanks for a great video. I used to watch Noot Vir Noot in the UK.

  • I used to watch 7de laan

  • I remember that. The theme tune started off with a violin. I think it was based on that Australian soap-opera, Neighbours. I do remember it being in Afrikaan and the occasional English.

  • Noot Vir Noot is presented by Johan Stemmet. I always loved it when the contestants answered a question wrong and heard that springy sound effect, always brought a smile and laugh to my face.

  • what country do you live in now?

  • I live in England. And you do too.

  • cool, where in the UK do you live?

  • I have been meaning to visit South Africa for a long time, this video just make me realise I shouldn't hold out any longer. What a beautiful country! And those ads are really really funny!

  • I spent a long time looking for those ads, and it was worth it :).

  • Which ads are those man?

  • I'll have to re-look for them

  • Just give me a few key words that will help me search for them if possible. Thanks

  • you should!

  • k, I won't make a deadline though.

  • Great stuff man! You should have shown images of the South Coast in KZN and it`s beaches plus North Coast KZN... peace

  • Yeah, I noticed how many places I missed. But I was running out of ideas. Maybe I'll do another one sometime.
