I was at this show. Actually at all of their Montreal shows back in the 80's. Guess I can figure out now why I have a steam whistle permanently blowing in my ears. But it was worth it, incredible band. Thanks Boys.
Bad ass song. British Steel was a killer album and this was a great song. Saw this Tour in 1984 and it did kick ass. Fans of metal should investigate the metal stylings of VSD from Maryland. VSD-Kill Your kids, mental breakdown, Girl Troubles, and 2 other fine metal tunes.
JUDAS PRIEST FUCKING RULES! Finally got to see my metal heroes Aug. 6th in Camden, NJ. They put the best show on out of all 4 bands by far and by large. Rob Halford can still kick your ass!
In 79 we drove to Madison to see Ted Nugent, but who da fuck was Judas Priest? And who is the bunch of kids called def leopard? They were the opening bands for Ted. They were all excellent and we started our band my senior year! God, they all ranked close to AC/DC!
but not liking Judas Priest(or any band for that matter) because the singer is gay would be like not liking BB King because he's black. Same ideology.
Strange how British Steel is terribly overrated, yet all the songs on it except Breaking The Law and Living After Midnight get almost no attention. This and Rapid Fire were two of the only real Priest moments on there, but they're criminally underrated. Amazing classic song; I like how he uses the same intro that he does on the live cut on the remaster.
They reached a point on this album,a bit further than Hell Bent had taken them..I think they may have called this album 'Steel' because they had really polished their metal sound.The whole album through heavy..Not that Hell Bent isn't one sweet album.........
Incredible. British Steel and Killing Machine led metal to where it is today. Well todays metal doesn't count... But you know

@MetalSchlicht
The album title is just a pun. British Steel was one of the largest state owned British companies at the time.
