  • lol... I was there!

  • ... through a fisheye len's

  • Back when New Yorkers still knew how to be cool. What happened??

  • why are these fagots famous again

  • @TheDarkjedi666 because hedros like you are facinated by watch them.

  • I was living this in NYC at the time. Went from the City Nightclub in Portland Oregon to The Limelight was where mostly we would hang until 1996. Michael was a party promoter and everyone followed that bitch - since we knew a party would be happening. Think of themed parties. New York was still in the process of being cleaned up when Giuliani took office in 1994. Those were the days! New York was raw and we fed on nightlife! I should post some wild photos!

  • @BennyB5555 Yes, you should :)

  • I expected better outfits. Hollywood lied again. XD

  • i go 2 McDonalds around this time too in NYC its fun

  • fags murders scumbags trash the lowest level of society

  • @moe80ca ur the lowest level of soceity..and ur the fag and scumbag to critize ppl that don't apply to u or ur generation..

  • @jrockluv I dont take drugs!! you do..I dont urinate front of the people just for fun and ask my fellow fags to stand in line and drink my pee you do .I dont kill people or support killers you do ..if you dont know that is the lowest level of soceity now you do now...say hi to Michael alig and Freeze

  • I used to dress in a lot of crazy stuff like that back in highschool, and being the first in my school to do it, it really did catch on. what's hard for people to understand is it's a way of embracing the negativity of the world around us calling us gay and pushing us around even when we're trying to look and act normal. For me, because I'm not gay, I would get a kick out of being dressed as a half-man/half-french maid and putting it in peoples faces because I was dating all these hot chicks

  • isn't it an actor the guy who document this party ??

  • She said "let there be french fries!"

  • while this may seeem fun and free, which i totally think, i believe this is the reason why the club scene in nyc went completely downhill. just my opinion. but this looks like so much fun.

  • That is correct! It was a fucking fabulous time in nyc! Too bad the republican agenda has turned nyc into disneyland...sadness

  • so lemme get this straight...michael would show up somewhere and all of a sudden thered be a party for no reason or occasion?

  • I found a blog about MICHAEL . i posted the link in my blog. It's pretty hard hitting.

  • JSJ Coke sniff at 6:05

  • I hated Nelson so much! All he did was follow everyone around!!!! I was glad he died of a heart attack in 89! I almost punched him in the face on 2 occasions! All he did was follow people around because it made him feel cool. Asshole.

  • @projectbluebook1 And you're on here insulting him so that you sound cool.

  • James St James =)

  • @Anro420 there's no such thing as stealing in the art world. It's simply borrowing. Mind you, Gaga grew up in NYC, where these parties were taken place.

  • cool party.

  • doesnt look like much of a party...and wheres all the outrages outfits? super boring actually...prolly seemed way more fun if they were on drugs or something...but even then....boring even if you ARE fucked up

  • the club kids are so fabulous! loves it! im bringing back the clothing every time i walk downtown in reno!

  • I'm pretty sure this is real. They video documented a lot of this stuff

  • For some reason I can't the idea out of my head of the cameraman holding one of those over the shoulder camcorder.

  • @tragicblackness Haha, we had handheld super 8 video cameras in the 90's. I had one in high school, it took the small super 8 tapes. I graduated in 1996, so I doubt it was a VHS camcorder, lol

  • ahh!! james st james was so cute!

  • All these people have no character... all the same and see through...

  • Where's all the funky costumes? Damn you Hollywood!!!

  • @johnd94 i was thinking the same thing! lmao!

  • It's not fake you idiot!

  • You're right, the best thing to be is a homophobic rapper talking about hoes and worshipping money in their hypocrasy? Or perhaps a sports star who has animals fight for money or one who shoots up with steroids. Or maybe a midwest soccer mom, who thinks this is still the 1950s and that everyone who isn't white, striaght, christian, and middleclass should disappear Only pathetic thing here is you. If you want to hate Mike Alig, there is a great reason too, being queer isn't it.

  • Apparently Hollywood isn't the only place seeing as they were icons in NYC.

    Silly homophobes.

  • that does look like james st james

  • its totally them u morons, michael is the one with the dots on his face

  • Nobody has a cell phone! What did everybody do?

  • I'm in a k-hole right now

  • @PutaLoca11 Then how were you typing? I swear. youtube needs an age limit.

  • "don't give it to me, I have nothing to do with money"

  • the mere fact that you need that explained to you is a dead give away to me that you were from Europe

  • lol...why is that?

  • read disco bloodbath.

  • wow, i walked up those staris when i went to new york..wonder who else has...

    (celebs)

  • where are all the crazy dresses like in the movie?? everybody's dressed in black here! I am disappointed!

  • Comment removed

  • im cuban so i want mine at pollo tropical!

  • It makes me feel SO old when I realize just how long ago this soiree took place. It's so easy for people who were too old/young or anti-NYC to trash the scene, but to recall the happy times & the parade-like atmosphere before everything was drenched in heavy drug use is what I prefer to dwell on. I was an "outsider with perks" & only knew the fun times, so that is what I like to remember. Thanks for the happy thoughts...

  • wasn't this video guy the same guy that documented himself everywhere in the art scene in the late 80s and early 90s?

  • i'd much rather be smoking pot watching tv haha

  • haha that is awesome! great party!

  • No...do this at a Sonny's BBQ in Alabama......THAT would be hardcore.

  • for all fans of club kids, this video has the infamous michael alig in it (see spotty guy on the second floor) in his fresh faced early days, james st. james at the end singing 'daniel' and looking quite goth...

this is an original 'outlaw' party where everyone would should up at a predesignated place (like this 24 hr. mcdonalds) and take it over.

  • Some people become doctors, others lawyers, still others gain fame as human garbage. I'm so glad our culture praises reprobates like Alig and his ilk, resounding in today's proliferation of hipsters.

  • wow!!! your a real cool dude.

your college vocabulary is blowing my fucking mind!!!

  • Yeah, that's me... always using three-syllable words and causing aneurysms. Go suck back some more CO2, fuckstick.

  • YOU remind me of my brother. He works at Walmart...says words like "discard" and "extremely" and people go nuts. All them fancy werds.

    *pets*

  • this is so legit...creepy, but legit.

  • these people are so sad

  • what is the year of this?

  • This video just proves how hardcore real life is.

  • some party

  • This vid is the real deal. Met Michael once at an outlaw party he hosted at an empty lot. Truly a nut!

  • is this real?????

  • yes,it is.

  • haha wow. historical

  • looks like a burger king to me sweetie

  • I guess it would if you only watched the first 1:00 lol

  • that was to jjames9826

  • wake me when it's over

  • re:cutiepopsgirl's question about the song they are singing at 5:49 is "Daniel" by Elton John

  • who is that at 4:36?

  • I can't believe somebody documented it.

    this is history. haha.

  • What's the song he's singing at 5:49??

  • elton john - daniel

  • James was soo hot

  • what year is this?

  • 1994

  • I remember the "King & Queen of Manhattan" party at Limelight Disco 2000!!! lol

  • not the real video, michele was naked at the actual party

  • She could have been at this one. This is archived footage from nelson. Who is to say she wasnt naked at the beginning.

  • Michael should of gone to Burger King. He could of had it his way. LOL

  • i always wondered how they never got in big trouble for hardcore drugs and everything?

    is michael still alive?

  • michael is still alive yes. And he's in prison. Or I think he is, I heard he was gonna be released soon.

  • 2010 is his next parole date

  • ah i have always wanted to meet him.

    like, fuck dude.

  • Any party is fun on cocaine, special k, and heroin silly.

  • but once the party's over- the withdrawals arrive. fuck heroin

  • lmaoo very true.

  • Is it Michael at 2.00?

  • yeah :)

  • Is this actually during that time?

Or was it a modern re-enactment?

  • this is actual footage.

  • a rave at McDoodoo's. I am beside myself with glee.

    What a loser.

  • Michael Alig DIN#97A6595

    Coxsackie Correctional Facility

    Box 999

    West Coxsackie, NY 12051-0999

  • rainforest...

  • wow, just like the movie. what did they say? "McDonalds is destroying the ______???"

  • sounds like "rain forest" lol

  • Oh, those were the days. Is that Musto at the end there?

  • Well a number of them went on to have careers.

Jennytalia actually works with kids these days. James st james is an author and works at an internet site. Keoki is still a world reknown DJ, (i am not a fan).

That is to just name a few.

  • And lets not forget Richie Rich and his clothing line heatherette, which probaly brings him more money then you will ever see...

  • @crzymk666 yup and Lisa Eldstein is Cuddy on House :)

  • they were the club kids in the 80s. NOT THE 90s.

  • On the contrary.

They were the club kids in the 90's that part you are not wrong, but the club kids preceded well into the early 90's. Michael Alig was sent to jail in 96.

  • wow when you watch the movie you dont get that sense of time at all

seems like a short span of a couple of years.. thanks for lettin me know man

  • Not a problem. Don't want any people fighting over misinformed information.

  • I got rid of the gonarrhea and then he wouldn't fist me anymore!! LOLOLOLOL

  • It's 1996 maybe..wonder how many drugs were passed out there..lol..

  • earlier than '96.

  • hah. crazy.

  • what year is this?

  • wtf, does it say rave!!!

and yeah it looks pretty good tbh, have you ever had that many people who where probably out of it together in McDonalds, umm i don't think so.

    you all just hating!!

  • lol was this what was supposed to be so special? I don't see what all the fuss is about... seems like a pretty boring "party"

  • had better raves come out of my ass.

  • damn I imagined it would be a better party . looks really shit. The people don't even look more dressed up than your average queer. Guess it was all exagerrated as i thought.

  • hahaha michael is wearing a DePaul University shirt... thats where i go.... weird

  • Damn gentrification...

  • shit party

  • toodles

  • What a lame party...

  • Micheal looked sooo much better in the movie... well mac did anyway...

  • im an idiot ...michael alig a sick hero of mine ...lol

  • Amazing<3 that looked like it was SO much fun...it should be redone

  • Hell I do stuff like that all the time!I get my inspiration from James St.James!:o)

  • Where is this from?

  • I've never seen anyone get so excited by hamburgers

  • I didn't know they went to that McDonalds. I've been there, that's so funny.

  • Lol "Mc donalds is destroying the rainforest!" and "then my gonnorhea cleared up but he would fist me anymore!"

  • whos an idiot?

  • should have stayed at the burger king

  • whats that song he's singing? i love it!!!

  • your an idiot.

  • whos an idiot?

  • Daniel by elton john.

  • what year was this?

  • put on some music on THAT background, it would've been SO MUCH better than the movie scene.

  • I think I was about 5 years old when this happened. Wish I could have been there!

  • I remember that night, the subway party was better! I do miss those special"k" occaisions. Is anything happening theese days? Seems like it's time again, Who's with me?

  • The club kid revival is pretty lame. Astro throws some parties from time to time, but nothing spectacular has been going on.

  • WTF?

  • It's the first time i see Michael Musto looks cool and drunk jajaja

  • These videos have cured me of my drug and alcohol addictions in one night.

  • great!

  • what's wrong? there's only music and strobing lights mising, but that put aside, this is the usual club activity, only in massive format... everyone interacts with everyone, instead of the lame 'just our group' lame-o-action.. oh, and how much would you expect to see from a crappy 80's camera?.. this is like walking inside a cardboard box with a peep-hole, not that that ain't fun XD

  • That sucks! & Who does the guy filming it think he is? xDD

  • Nelson... Well lets see.. he was one of the only ones to film downtown nightlife in the late 80's early 90's. He was going to make a documentary until one day he was found dead in his apartment from a heart attack... he has over 800 hours of footage from the clubkid era

  • I think the video was more fabulous and the party was made out to seem more fabulous because none of us are dropping acid before watching it....Acid and McDs at 3a by some peoples standards is an amazing revelation!

  • what's so special about this?

  • Hollywood tends to exaggerate things a bit. At least this is the real story here.

  • i love this video

  • definitely, i wish i was there doin my "hey girlfriends"

  • definitely not as outrageous as the movies make the parties seem, but it still looks like fun!

  • I agree with samu...

  • yeah. its just that the movie makes it seem like everyone was all dressed up and fabulous and only a couple people were and it was so much more legal than it seemed in the movie and there wasn't even music or dancing... so so very disappointing.

  • this video is actually kinda disappointing to me. i always envisioned it being so much more fabulous. the movie did it more justice than it deserved and even disco blood bath made these type of events seem much more fabulous. me and my friends threw more amazing parties than this in kansas.

  • I'm sure it seemed much more fabulous to all of them with their minds saturated with X and lsd, etc. :)

  • haha. that's true.. and we weren't on anything at the time.

  • You've got to keep in mind most of these people were on lots of drugs...

  • yeah thats what sintrovert already said.

  • these videos are awesome :_) after reading about these events its wierd seeing the actual event on video
