Dude I'm a horticulturalist by trade and let me tell you there are far better pruning saws. If you like using a saw rather then a axe, look at the Corona's or Felco's. I bring a Corona with me on my hikes and it takes a fraction of energy compared to an axe.

I modelled my gear after this video. Perfect with only personal choice and size modifications. I want the pot set but it is no longer available. I want the bowl and cup but it is hard to find. Thanks again for showing us your gear.

I got the flares from "Le Baron" here in Canada. Not sure if they're just a Canadian company though. I believe you can also get them at MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op".
