i saw on mythbusters they made a hovercraft on a surf board and used one blower to inflate airbag and 2 or 3 blowers on the back pointing behind the board for thrust....worked pretty good. im currently making one with 2 vacuum motors on a skateboard deck.....not done yet but, still work in progress

now you need to put a leaf blower on the back on a swivel and add a handle and you can steer it :)

Get a padling pool, 8'X6' ($10) inflate, turn upside down and put ply over it. make a hole and insert leafblower. Seal around the blower, hey presto, a craft that works on grass and water.

I used a 24cc engine and it worked perfectly both on land and on water but I'd say that the higher you can get the power, the better it will work.

yeah i know. I'm trying to figure out how to make it go forward though. I tried another blower but its not strong enough. Right now I'm working on a rig to have two blowers on the back for thrust and a bar in front to turn them to steer.
