I just got GOWII over my spring break of 09 so I'm a little late to the scene but I was wondering u guys said u lose magic regen at AQ but how do u get it past CR?? I thought u lost it there (I'm talking about NP not BP)

I don't think Regen is doable past CR in NP as of now as all current tricks rely on HJ and in NP at that point you don;t have the tools for an HJ [unless am mistaken].
However, even if you lose at CR, you get it again when you get EH. Am on my TM run and once done plan to do a quicky Normal/Easy run and record a vid of regen after EH on NP, if possible [recording, not regen glitch].
sry AJGoTHaCkEdAGaiN was my friends account I was on it by accident I was saying I discovered after the 2nd translator when you glide to the area where you battle the Kraken, you have to fight cyclops'. If you hug the giant pillar on the right and do IJ with 3 charges then jump and glide towards the door with the Warrior's Skull you can avoid the battle altogether.
Actually a single HJ can help skip it. Use Icarus Wing version of BH HJ and one is enough. I say coz I can't pull of multiple BH charges [not dextrous enough].
THANK YOU!!! Finally pulled it off. I posted failed attempt in hopes someone would point out what am doing wrong. Tried with Icarus Lift and managed to pull it off. Will practice it a bit more.
Will keep a save before Euryale on my TM run for later and try to retain Regen in NP.
Oh, now that I got the BH HJ, how do infinite charges work?
Same as before use ascension and do MotK at MAX height press start. (Notice how Kratos climbs a little at the start of MotK?)
Once in the start menu cycle through your subs, back to the BH then giver it about 10 seconds to ensure the game has loaded the BH. This isn't essential but it seems to help
Exit the start menu (I use start not triangle) R2 to select the BH, L1 to do Motk the hit pause just after kratos hops a little higher.

BHJ the gate? I thought there is no way to jump over gate once challenge starts. I was gonna try for Manesh's 2 HJ trick [CR then BHJ]. So, how do I HJ the gate?

On that soldier, when I first tried this glitch, something better happened... the soldier became 'invisible'. He was there on screen, but none could damage him and even Kratos went right through him. Need to reproduce and capture that.
Not sure if it's Icarus Lift, as I get same even if I try Double Jump prior to BH. I think my BH cycle cancel glitch is glitched ):
Aha, my bad. Just checked the FAQ and AKheon mentions it but doesn't quote you. Guess must be an effect of Theseus glitches section which is full of your quotes.

Ascension with the Blades (select the BH on the way up) to MotK not double jump.
NOTE: Icarus lift is double jump. Icarus Ascension is the "Wings Launcher".

easy and I guarantee the first few times you try you will just plunge to the ground in the block pose.
The trick is selecting/equipping the BH before pressing R1. It is impossible to describe the timing, you just got to get a feel for it.
Regen magic in NP should be doable. Just BHJ the gate when the challenge starts.
You will ,of course lose the regeneration at Atlas Quake, the "ultimate cockblock"

Icarus Lfit before cycle canceling tends to cause the 'blade surf'. with a sub out
