whats is glsl and how do i get/ use it im running a vista 64 bit brand new so im sure i can run it, im a noob at rendering so please explain , also ive seen that eagle model online, how do i export and import textured or rigged model, thanks nice game by the way
The modle you have to rig yourself... and it dosnt have a texture its using material.... now Glsl is just lighting and shadow in game... to use it you have to click on "game" and then "use GLSL"
and then give an object a material and add a spot light... in the spot light options it will have an option saying "buff shadows" or somthing. and then when you start the game engine it will have lighting and shadows... pretty much like a render but in-game... look at some tutorials on youtube :)
First problem, you're using bullets.... That will destroy the FPS. Use ray sensors.... if you were using that gun you wouldn't see that much of a muzzle flash. It would mostly be smoke (more like steam)
The gun looks like it has some normal issues.. or looks like it's too blocky.
It's a decent test, but nothing too promising right now, I'm just looking at some modeled hands, a gun, a simple mouselook, and some spotlights.
Most all FPS games with blender end with this... do something else.....
what graphics card do you have?
