So me personally I cannot knock him or Bush for trying to stimulate the economy even if it meant spending money to do it. It did increase the debt but I would rather that happen than to see the country go down in flames.

In the beginning of Obama's presidency I told myself I was going to be objective in how I assess things, but the political climate in my country makes it next to impossible. I find it impossible in a climate where the other side constantly punches below the belt. Therefore, I've made up my mind I'm sticking with the Democrats.

I say cheap because you do not know me and have no understanding of what my experience has been and therefore are really in no position to make the judgment that it stems from my own complacency. There is no rationality in politics and never was. How do you rationalize with people who insist on believing something even if it obviously isn't true? Politics is only about 'my side winning'. Your response, as I understand it, is to choose the politician that feels the most right or perhaps the least incompetent and stick with him/her. I sympathize with this, do it myself, but am still not satisfied with it. I understand that in this case our best is still not nearly enough. That is why we are polishing the brass on the titanic.

If the NYT, CBS, NBC or WashPo do a poll you can safely take away 15 percent froom the their stated approval of Obama.
They screw with the democraphics of their polls.
Gallup isn't as bad but always have proven by elections to be iin bed with the left.
The GfK is a german pollster which began it's history under Hitler, they are usually the most inaccurate and have a mission to change public opinion rather than gauge it.

@thezirk Now I understand again with spending but in a case like the US we had to try to do something. So me personally I cannot knock him or Bush for trying to stimulate the economy even if it meant spending money to do it. It did increase the debt but I would rather that happen than to see the country go down in flames.

Thats why GW Bush put out an stimulus and Obama did as well to stimulate the economy. Obama had to throw money at it to stimulate it. If he did nothing then a depression would have taken place.

AZ is opening themselves up for getting sued by many people not just latinos but native americans as well if they take things to far. I think Obama will do something about now that AZ did what it did. Eric Holder is already considering knocking down AZ's law.

@thezirk Thats not true. All the polls combined have Obama's approval rating at 48% while 46% disapprove. Gallop just came out with a poll yesterday that has him over 50% now.
