it's a real shame maison ikkoku isn't more popular. it's so good.

my boxed set doesn't have the special opening and closing for epsode 24 by the way - it's just the same as the episodes around it. (maybe for those copyright reasons?)

The creator of the series must have been a real G O'S fan. Everything seems perfectly synched and timed to the music. Their quirky lyrics seem tailor-made for anime themes.

Seems they didn't get permission before using the music...which is why they couldn't use them for more than one.
