  • I thought the ls1 was a 5.7l?.. How did it become a 427?.. With just a bore?

  • @bighunt08 bore + stroke

  • how the crap do you even know what is going on driving that thing! :P to fart for me !

  • WOW!

  • 427 LS Series engines are small blocks. You could use a standard 7.0L block or bore and stroke Ls1 LS2 LS3 or 6.0L Iron block just clearing that up for ppl that may not have known.

  • there are 427 small blocks and 427 ls motors like the LS7. the new LSX is a small block and can be bored over 500 cubes. and there are chevy small blocks that can be bigger than that

  • nice drag car...

no such thing as a 427 LS1 though...

the reason, is because LS1's are small blocks and 427's are big blocks...

  • Haha! Here's a hint: Google "stroker motor"

  • 427 is a big block...

  • nevermind, I stand corrected

never saw a small block stroked to 427... that's pretty extreme

  • 427 can be small blocks...LS7 is a small block

  • there are small blocks over 500 cubes these days :)

  • yes they are small blocks, lunati started the bore over kit. they remove the cylinders and install new ones to make the 427

  • what shot?

  • What are the rules for the track in Sendai? any website for information? thanks
