i don't think it was an accident because a man was ready with a hoover. It's very funny. I love when it's finished, john cleese sit down and continue to speak about the first show whereas Chapman's ashes were on the floor.

I recently read an interview from around 97 or 98 when he talks about this event and he said that thgey actually didn't know when Gilliam was gonna knock it over so it came as a surprise to them :-)

No, they knew he was gonna do it, they just didn't know when... what Michael (I guess you're talking about him, sannaol)says in that interview is that Terry let it go quite a while and they forgot about it. So when he finally did it, it did come as a surprise to them.
