South Korea was a great nation with a great culture! they had to buy into our money-making bullshit machine! the creators of this godawful show must be incredibly rich now from all the undeserving money they made. I wish I knew those people and where they lived, that way I could blow up their mansions with dynamite and give all of that money to starving children in Africa!

@awwq89 Might I ask if Sesame can do it, why can't Barney? Yeah, the show's simplistic for most people's palates, but kids do learn from it, like with Sesame. Viper, I understand you're annoyed with the franchise (especially being WAY too old for it when it hit big), but threatening to bomb where the creators live (and no, they DON'T have a mansion) is pushing it. >.> If it weren't for the purple guy's success, Nickelodeon and Disney (among others) wouldn't have made their own preschool shows.

@TruelySonicHOG BTW, another reason why I deeply despise this shitty show, you say that if Sesame Street did it, why not the purple lizard? BIG DIFFERENCE! Sesame Street actually taught us about actually fixing our problems and solving unpleasant realities. Barney and Friends tells us to just smile and sing a happy song and just forget about it all whenever we have problems. Very simple, lousy, stupid, and one-dimensional, doesn't deserve any praise from anyone who was born with brain cells.

@awwq89 - Have you even watched the show? At no point has Barney ever told children to forget about their problems. In some cases, he'll sing a song or something to make the child happy (The child is afraid of going to the doctor's, they feel inferior to the others, etc.), but the problem still exists, and Barney then helps them solve it. 'Sesame' does the EXACT same thing.

@supergodzilla12 actually I did watch the show, thank you very much, and I felt sick afterwards. I still can't believe that anywhere on this planet exists people out there who still can't outgrow this this show that is already completely un-educational for a child of any young age and doesn't deserve any popularity or to be on PBS. Just putting it in the same category as Sesame Street is an insult to everything both Sesame Street and PBS were trying to accomplish.
