@Mikel3ambi i also think they do this in the OHL every year and its not for  breast cancer well at least i dont think it is? but anyways in the OHL they have it once a year its called "paint the rink pink night" i know cuz i went last year to the Majors game on a friday and they had a banner saying paint the rink pink night and the ice was pink.

I highly doubt that they would paint the base pink as they would have to remove the ice and repaint it white. It appears that that they dyed the flood water and went for a temporary pink affect

@BretJenkins When they are putting the ice in, they normally spray a "whitewash" as one of the base layers. Instead of white paint, they just use Pink.
