REID BILL "STALLED" AGAIN!

The Stupak/Pitts Amendment was NOT included in Reid's Bill!

The Bill DOES maintain current law and extend it to new programs created through the legislation ALONG with proposals from Capps, a pro-choice Democrat who had opposition to the Stupak/Pitts legislation!

Fortunately...40 House Dems have said they will NOT support a final bill containing the Amendment's provisions!

ABC/Wash Post Polls show that 61% "OPPOSE the support of abortions in the Reid Bill."

their "payment schedules" INCREASE!

Last year, AARP collected $222 MILLION IN ROYALTIES from United Healthcare which is....

the SECOND LARGEST insurance firm BOASTING profits in 2008 of...

$75.4 BILLION, which provides most of the health insurance marketed under...

the AARP brand!

That figure is almost as much as AARP collected in dues from its members!

that actually makes sense. the difference is that they don't fight for the right of insurance companies to choose to keep people from the medical care they need. it's not that they aren't united for a cause, they just aren't united to make sure that people don't lose their right to health. because without health nobody would feel good, and then they would all be depressed and blame each other for their own misery. so don't get mad at people for trying to acquire health for their friends...
