  • shoulda painted the olds flat brown, put white walls on it, and left the hub caps on, TRUE era Toronado style

  • Thank you auto insurance. I would not want to see the Saturn: Anything left?

  • @coffeefish I like how the saturn sky looks better than the soltice. But, if I could pick any version of the car, it'd be the Opel GT.

  • Sorry to see your wrecked olds....but old cars can be rebuilt unlike the plastic cars we drive today.

  • The guy in the saturn should be hung

  • @mayorscruff he should be beheaded

  • Damage doesn't really look all that bad, I wonder what the Saturn looked like after that.

  • those bastards

  • The most spectacular FWD car ever designed period.

  • how heavy is the toronado ??? it looks really big but I guess you're right it looks very good from the side, the front is contreversial but radical I guess. leno's toro is a Twin Turbo big block 1060hp enough to move that heavy car very fast

  • I've had a '66 Toro Deluxe for 30 years. Needs a Rotisserie, but only 37,800 miles... Just made a vid or it a few days ago

  • G.M. concept version of the toro was a trip ,belive it or not they had it as short as poss, and the front end was covered with barge rope, they wanted to use it as some sort of a tug or push vech, cuz of the F.W.D. no lie saw it big book of concept versions of production cars, gald it made it as a large platform car, had about 3or 4 of them nice cars realey liked the 77 with the cutback rear window, called the X.S E.?

  • Ironic that Saturn and Olds have both been canceled

  • Saturn was not canceled. GM sold it to Penske Automotive Group.

  • Sales OFF!!!

  • You are correct that now the sale of Saturn is no more. It fell through a couple weeks after I wrote my previous comment.

  • I guess it helpsn when you have a shop for those kinds of repairs lol

  • do you think that saturn was totaled? lol

  • i would be whoopin someones ass

  • whats the name of this song?

  • Moby - Honey

  • Thanks for posting the video. - Are you a member of TOA (Toronado Owners Club)???

Watching that video, and some others of Toronados has relit the fire to get my parents to get Moms' 1970, Ming Jade, Toronado out of storage and back on the road. She/we parked it in 1987 when I refused to let her sell/trade it in on a new Dodge Shadow. - Dad is worried that if he gets it back out she will want to drive it everyday... - I say "LET HER!!!!"

    Thanks again.

  • omg sad :(

  • You're lucky that parts are still available.

I had a '66 Starfire which a towing company stole out of a garage which I rented in Detroit where the tenants were subsequently evicted during my car's storage. So, I can understand your rage.

A kind neighbor of theirs was a witness and I filed a stolen car report.

It seems like the only place left on this earth to drive a rare classic without endanering it would be late at night in the Australian outback, anymore

  • Beutiful car. shame to see some careless person (guy who was driving saturn) mess it up. im sure the owner was pissed i know i would have been.

  • Did their insurace cover the whole repair job?

  • cool that they fixed it!!

  • what song is that?

  • Honey , Artist Moby-

  • i grew up with my dad driving one of these except it was GT model. Not exactly a really fast car but its fucking stylish.

  • Glad to see you fixed it rather than junking it.

Not many people appreciate how innovative the Toronado was in those early years.

  • how much money does it cost to get a new paint job?

    $1500?

  • It's saddening to see such a beautiful car in that kinda shape. Goos luck fixing it.

  • whats the band and song playing in the background? Sweet toronado. I'm restoring a classic myself. a 1972 buick skylark. I'm turning it into a GS clone. Sweet ride man

  • It's "Moby " Honey.....

  • -Cool!

  • Toronado is a great FWD car with a REAL flat floor!

Was anything left of the Saturn?

  • That sucks, I have a 66 Toronado almost perfect condition have the parking break go out and rolled down my street and hit a tree messed up the front bad. Still havent got it fixed yet but the the front bumper grill and head lights are out.

  • umm ok what about the finished product?

  • BEAUTIFUL! A friend of mine had one of these years ago and it was a wild machine with style. Love it!
