@steve37533 My friend has a force feedback wheel (really rare to find for Xbox) and on the legend difficulty, in an HRT, no assists, all simulation on full, he leaves the ai eating his dust has he builds up a lead within 5 laps of 40 seconds or so. He leaves me in 2nd place by the end of a race on co-op with the same settings with a difference of 50 seconds or so (20 %) race, and yes I know, online the ai is a bit easier and buggy!

@steve37533 No! Codemasters were limited to the things they were allowed to do because of the license. Because of the limiting factors of this license, they COULD NOT do at least half of the improvements they offered after the first month of development. There would have been very realistic simulations of damage, destruction, gearbox settings, etc. As soon as Bernie saw these deveopments from F1 2010, he said no. Codemasters tried to do so. Bernie said no! Also, don't swear at me!

It feels like they have there engines set to "fast" every lap, while i have only 3 laps, despite having 64 laps of fuel.and tire wear has me spinning out when they go, whilst A.I just still goes flat out.

@Toasteduk10 you make it sound so easy! 1) PS3 version DID get short changed in this department. 2) Codemasters bring patch 1.2 and say "many graphical improvements" - all they added was a blur effect to hide the crap job they did in the first place. As a side note, I have the PC version and it's not just the graphics is it!? ALL systems suffer from some game breaking bugs, that is if you like to play realistically or against friends on te online CO-OP.
The game is good but as many people have already stated the AIs are too consistent they need to make them crash into each other so the SC can be deployed you barely see over 20 cars finish a race at each grand prix so make it so in the game

That probably has something to do with it, because I've not seen a race since the patch with more than 20 finishers (because of crashes and mechanical failures). Since the patch I've even seen the Safety Car come out because of an AI incident! The AI isn't a problem... Anymore :)

@marvelous3999 Which season have you been watching? There's hardly been any start line crashes this year, there's been a few but 5 retirements on average per race on the first lap? You're lucky if there's more than 5 retirements in the full race. Since the patch many more cars retire and crash. Before the patch I'd agree with you, but since the patch I've seen a vast improvement and finally the Safety Car came out without me interfering! But I only do long races (50% or more), maybe that's why.

if only they had the graphics of this in game... poor shoddy updates. Blur effect on ps3 to hide crap low resolution 90's graphics. Tire bug completed killed the online co-op and sounds NOTHING like this. They should just remove the out for ps3 at the end. Aint worth it like this.

It is a great game let down by some stupid bugs. 1.2 patch then added a horrible tire bug which wears down tires you never selected when you go out on track in P1-Quali, affecting the whole element of race strategy. Game breaker for most people that one. I just hope they can sort it out.

What I really want personally is the off-set T-cam in replay mode, as you can see from my videos it would be better for me, and probably motivate me to make more vids knowing it looks more realistic. Also real TV camera positions on the side of the track which are used in real life. I think its a great game, but it lacks simple things which would make it look aesthetically better and more realistic as if it were on TV.
Put KERS on HRT. They have a KERS nmbutton but no kers. S4 HRT points contenders but catmr feels same as it was in S1 so i restarted with Williams 5 SEASONS IS A JOKE MAKE IT 10

um ok vettel in reality only drove to the second corner in abu dhabi, I wanted a formula 1 game to be intense and exciting, but I feel cheated in a way, I can't break the car sufficiently, the ai don't crash into each other therefore I won't get the SC unexpectedly deploy, what happened to the damage system? F1 CE you could break the car to retirement knock a tyre off if you strike the wall, random failures, AI failures and mistakes get a grip Codies before you lose us fans.
you guys are spending time doing a video with FAKE sounds and FAKE camera angles instead of doing a WORKING patch, or even worse, a WORKING game for ps3... Nice, codeMASTERS, very nice.
@rptimao Yes, offline split screen. The best multiplayer feature is the co-op championship. All Codies need to do now is move that to the full multiplayer game so you can team up with your friends rather than just wit one friend.

I think its a great game, but it lacks simple things which would make it look aesthetically better and more realistic as if it were on TV.

Put KERS on HRT. They have a KERS nmbutton but no kers. S4 HRT points contenders but catmr feels same as it was in S1 so i restarted with Williams 5 SEASONS IS A JOKE MAKE IT 10

I know I'll get massacred for that comment, but I am speaking the truth, I played F1 CE extensively and to this day I still find it fun to play, but Codies need to sort the reliability of the AI's engine and brakes and other components, create more opportunities for the AI cars to make mistakes.

um ok vettel in reality only drove to the second corner in abu dhabi, I wanted a formula 1 game to be intense and exciting, but I feel cheated in a way, I can't break the car sufficiently, the ai don't crash into each other therefore I won't get the SC unexpectedly deploy, what happened to the damage system? F1 CE you could break the car to retirement knock a tyre off if you strike the wall, random failures, AI failures and mistakes get a grip Codies before you lose us fans.

@rptimao Yes, F1 2011 has splitscreen offline MP. Also the game came out towards the end of Sept 2011.

@rptimao Yes, offline split screen. The best multiplayer feature is the co-op championship. All Codies need to do now is move that to the full multiplayer game so you can team up with your friends rather than just wit one friend.
