I watched this on HD, and it is not a skull cap. You can the razored hair bumps that many people who shave their heads get. They look like zits, and Pat had them. I watched it a couple of times, and it was real. That, and you could hear his voice crack when he said that he was tired of living a lie. Yes, it was April 1st, but they have had 25 April 1st shows...why would he do this now if it were not real?

I've spent hundreds of evenings watching WOF with my family while eating dinner. Tonight I witnessed what quite possibly could be THE raddest moment in the shows 25+ year history. A friend of mine has always said that he has a bad hairpiece whewn we watch! I saw this tonight and (on MY television anyways) it didn't look like a bald cap, it looked like he had "5 o'clock shadow" at the back when he turned his head and some red marks, etc. but I suppose it depends on how much they cared whether it looked real or not. I think if it was a joke it would have looked more fake, but only Pat knows for sure lol.
