a band with a lot of potential and the P/M sets up the best band in England with good tone and body on MacCallum chanters. A very Interesting and musical set. I enjoyed it. Well done
...it does sound great! and I know where your dad got it from - I used to play with HIS dad and it sounded great then as well. You can check out what We're up to now (after so many years) by looking up "Crest of Gordon".
Best regards to Tony and I hope you all keep up the sound for 2008
Obviously they are a grade two band playing up but the sound is solid and good tone is acheived. If a just comment can be made it would be to do with the blowing but at least the pitch isn't to high that the chanter loses all harmonics and it has a bit of punch
Outstanding as usual! I used to play with at least two member of this band (Jasper & R. MacKay at Banbury and District) when we used to go AGAINST this band. UofLuton continues to sound great! All the best!
Hello... What does that "Grade 1" mean? Thanks :-)

It means Luton, who were Grade 2 at the time, were here playing up into the Grade 1 competition.
