Pest Control : How to Keep Cockroaches Out of the House

When I moved to my apt I didn't hav roaches for 8 months no one lived next to me or above me then I don't wanna blame the neighbors but once ppl moved in around me we started havin the prob. We used a gel which worked but I do see a german cockroach at least once a day it pisses me off n I kill it boooo

my house is infested with insects i discovered that when on the 1st day i found a moth 2nd day 1moth 2ants one other insect 3rd one cockroach one dragon fly one moth i`m scared

of course we put bay leaves and boric acid around but they keep finding other ways to get in. it doesn't help that we live in a two story apartment complex, and it also doesn't help when the management takes it's sweet time getting a pest exterminator to come in and bomb or spray the apartment. it still pisses me off that my family and I were not notified prior to the bombing.

I never had problems with roaches till my former upstairs neighbors had a roach infestation. they were moved to another apartment and then the new neighbors started having problems. so the office sent a pest control person to bomb their apartment but didn't bomb ours or tell us there was a roach infestation so now we are having to deal with these disgusting creatures. I started seeing them in the bathrooms, kitchen, living room and bedrooms.

Buy cheap flypaper and put it everywhere they crawl. Every roach that gets stuck on the flypaper is not going to reproduce.

cleaning doesn't work, they only need water, and it is impossible to be completely dry. I am going crazy with them, they just don't go!!!

Cockroaches might be gross but there the oldest living things on the planet, they have survived unchanged since the age of dinosaurs. Surviving the wipe out of the dinosaurs, the ice age and other major cataclysm world events its no wonder roaches are hard to get rid of...You have to be vigilant, keep cleaning like a neat freak everyday and use the chemicals properly, they wont go away over night but if you keep it up you will win eventually.

down here in canada we don't get roaches.. phew..

thats pretty much the only reason i don't like states.. but we do get house centipedes, search em up. you only see one like every 2 months

@Russiascool I saw a centepede in my house before in Massachusetts, only one I ever saw, I rather deal with roaches than centepdes, they scare me and are nasty!

@moralesm000 : Cleanliness is next to Godliness. My house was infested by German cockroaches that my wife inadvertently brought home in produce boxes from her health food store. I eradicated the buggers with Advion roach bait. This stuff really works.

i agree with Sagit112585, i cant stand roaches and if i see one in a certain room i will avoid going in there as much as possible. But i just got some heavy knee high boots and whenever i where them i can just walk right up to the roaches and crush em.

sounds weird i know but for some reason it helps me cope
