Dear Bob, you are strong in my heart and soul, but I will miss you forever, until I go reach you where you are, and it seems that it will not be so long. Your best friend, Pierre
to bob`s family: thanks for all your good words. i have now started working again, and i am fine. i hope only the best for you all, my best wishes for the new year comin.
I did not know Robert Smith. I heard about this terrible accident from a friend of his.By the comments read here, this man was a kind and good person not only to other people but to animals also. His journey down here has ended. He has now reached a safe haven.May he be a beacon to those close to him. My sincerest sympathy to family and friends. God's speed Sir.May you rest in peace
Such a spiritual & loving Being lives on in our memories & hearts. Bob is only "one step more" ahead of us and one day we shall be once again reunited in Spirit & Soul with our Creator & Bob.
Au comionneur, comme disait Le Petit Prince d'Exuphéry, "L'essentiel est invisible aux yeux." We can only see with our hearts to make sense of this accident. Bob avait du cœur; comme vous aussi. Bob understands all now & loves more; we will when we take that 'pas de plus'"one step more".
My husband moved to BC with our friend Bob from NB almost 30 years ago, travelling along that same highway. Friends then and now, we are so saddened by the loss of a unique spirit. Our hearts go out to Bob's family and the truck driver whose lives are connected by tragedy. Our thoughts are with the Smith family. Doug, Janet and Family
We were so very fortunate to be introduced to Bob through Scott Smith. Bob was kind enough to travel with our dog Kailey from BC to Moncton last year while we relocated. And again offered to care for Kailey this coming week while we were going to be away. The most kind hearted, generous man we have met. Our thoughts are with Bob's family and friends. You will be greatly missed by all.
We all lost the most wonderfull man I ever met. You are still living in our hearts and I also can see Bob inside all members of his family. Pierre Villeneuve
I am soo glad that I got a chance to see you when I was in BC last week. If only I knew it was the last goodbye i would have given you an even bigger hug. You were more then an uncle to us gleboff "kids", you were one of our greatest friends. You were a cery loving and caring man and alway willing to give others a helping had. yo uwill be greatly missed. reast in peace. love always, forever,
Bob will be missed by all that knew him. He was a good friend to many. As one of the last to see him in BC - he seemed happy with his chosen path and was happy to be going back East again. I don't know about the "negative comments" mentioned but for those who are mostly anglos like me the French, what can be seen now is not negative. I think our sympathy should also go to the truck driver who seems to have done everything possible to avoid the accident.
Bob Smith - my brother. A Man who had the biggest heart in the world. You will be missed by everybody you came in contact with. I will miss you and Love you so much. The world is a little less brighter.
Thank you for speaking up for our family. We learned of our brother's death this morning after learning he had not reached his distanation last night. This not a happy time for our families.
IF YOU HAVE NOTHING GOOD TO SAY - THEN MAYBE SAY NOTHING AT ALL!!!
To colaman82 I hope you never have to wake up to such terrible news and then see someone write something of disrespect. I am sure that you didn't even knew my brother.
Thank you for your comments. Bob was a good friend. I helped him pack for the trip from BC. He was a good friend and I will miss him. From what you say I believe you had no fault in this. I hope you can put this behind you soon. Thanks for the compassion to family and friends! Merci.
I don't know how angels work, but Bob somehow will find a way to watch over all of us. I believe you will always have the "Bob angel" watching over you as you go through life. He would have been so concerned for your safety - that is just Bob's way. Thank you for your compassion and for everything you tried to do. Merci beaucoup.
Mathieu, please, please ease your heart. Truly the family know that you tried you're best to avoide the accident. We want you to be okay too! Know that in our hearts, we do not blame you for the fate that took him from us and that you too are in our thoughts and hearts. A&W Parker
