Yeah! its chemicals in the brain. Earth was the result of collisions of chunks or rock and metal. When they collide at such mass that they have, the heat caused by the collision melts them. Because there is no gravity in space, it becomes a spherical shape. Cools down, and forms the basic starting point of a planet. Easy as that!
