I can see $400, MAYBE $600, but $1600 is going so far off the margin for affordability that I can't imagine anyone buying it unless they're seriously loaded, or just won a bunch of money on a scratch ticket.

@xilix I have yet to find the perfect office chair, but when I do, I would be willing to pay a couple thousand bucks. Think about it, one perfect chair which you'll be spending eight hours a day in for the rest of your life. Now they just need to build one.

@Asiats1 I am sure they make a tidy profit thanks to the price but I think they are expensive mainly because they are not mass produced and each order is custom. I am not sure how heavy it is but im sure bulky for shipping too. Also, made from recyclable materials, that normally costs more and not always better for the environment.

@eelw22 Your Aeron has no depth adjustment. Either it fits your thighs or it does not. It was made before Windows 95. Computers changed how long people sit in chairs and what they do in chairs.
