I have been wanting to buy a rock crawler for a some time now but did not want a jeep or pickup truck. I saw a Unimog in a rock crawling mag and said that is it I want that. Plus I drive semi truck. The 5 video I have watched on here on the Tamiya Unimog make me want to get it, I am sold on it. I wish there were more german euro looking crawlers like this out there.

Many thanks for your comment. Tamiya CR-01 is the way to go. The Unimog is one of my favourite runners. Not a hardcore rockcrawler, but it has a much better scale appearance. And the quality is outstanding.

Many thanks for your comment. The FJ40 is a great choice. I own the Toyota too. But the Unimog is my favourite. The forthcoming Tamiya CR-01 1973 Ford Bronco looks awesome too. CR-01 rules !

I just bought my fj40 that I said I was gunna get and have it all assembled and it is so awesome. All I have to do is paint the body , I think I'm going with a nice lime green.

Congratulations to your new Tamiya CR-01 kit. Building a CR-01 kit is so much fun. Lime Green is also a great choice for the body. I look forward for the video.

You both have really nice rides :) Now i must get one too lol. At the moment i just have a cc01, cr01 seems much better for crawling.
