hello im a 19 year old woman still having to live with grandparents because for a single person im only getting $368.00 for shelter costs and most places to rent are over that amount and i would have to take money out of my basic needs that i would need for prenatal vitamins,toiletries,food and clothing just to cover the rest of my rent. i have never lived on my own and im not going to be able to due to not being able to afford it . i am also $490.00 in hospital debt cuz i cant afford my id.
@babygurl1422 this means i will not be able to get the proper prenatal care that i need,the proper help i need for a healthy pregnancy or even a place for myself and my child to live that is suitable for me and my child that childrens aid will find fit. my elderly grandparents can only help so much as they are getting up in years. i have no other support and no other way to pay for everything that i need . i am also living in niagara falls ontario and really need help or else i will be screwed.
Every one is equal with the same rights so why are people living under the poverty line?, why the most affected population are women and children? why the government keeps the status quo over immigrants, women and child. Ontario had better arise the minimun wage in the province in order to give them the minimum standard quality life.
