I've only played GH3, so please forgive my ignorance... I take it u 4 were connected together online, rather than u all in the same room? And when u say DevilMayAsian is on vocals, is that his voice we're hearing, or does the game somehow merge his voice with the recorded vocalists'?

When you play online and the vocalist is on another 360, you do not hear his/her voice unless they hold down one of the trigger buttons on their controller, and when they do, it's a second or two behind the music. That's because of internet lag... it would be impossible for their voice to be synced with the music on the other 360s.

You can see a pitch line above the words that shows the pitches you have to match (search Youtube for any Rock Band vocals videos to see an example). You don't see them here, because I was playing online, and the singer was on another 360. He could see it on his, but you don't see it on the other players' systems... you just see the lyrics, and the multiplier and overdrive indicators.

you still did great though, I cant wait till I get rock band =D im prob. gonna pick up the RB2 bundle and the disc for the first rock band, cuz theres songs on rock band that id like to play on rock band 2... im getting it for the xbox 360 tho, so is there a way to DL an app. or something with the songs from 1? Idk anything about bcuz im not getting my xbox till christmas... so if some1 could help me that would be awesome

The way it works, is you first need to have an XBL account (easy to make, it can be the free silver one). You'll also need some MS points, either 400 or 500 (that's roughly $5 or $6), I forget which... they can be bought at game stores, or on the Xbox live site. In Rock Band 1, there will be an Export songs option somewhere in the main menus. Go there, you'll be asked to confirm purchasing the RB1 songs key download (needed to play the songs), and then it'll export the songs to your hard drive.
