@MamboMRS This is the same for almost every raid encounter in any game. People who didn't delve into the MMO genre before WoW seem to think that WoW invented how raid encounters work. Not at all.

For me, it's a matter of immersion. If I feel connected with my character and with the plot, then it makes the content feel new and refreshing. I have no doubt that Bioware can achieve this, given that TOR is supposed to be a story-based MMO.

You know, I must admit, SWTOR is starting to look even better than what I had expected. The animations are smoother and more fluid, the atmosphere is thick and powerful, the bosses look intimidating and worthy enough to easily crush a small squad of Sith *Lords*.

My expectations were initially not very high but reasonable but this- this video(and the demo from the game show) spiked my expectations of TOR up a whole new caliber! The graphics are downright gorgeous! It feels like STAR WARS! BRAVO

Does anyone else notice that this Eternity Vault is basically an armoured Rakatan prison (ala Alcatraz) that harbors the final remnants of the enemies of the Infinite Empire? Does anyone also notice that this is extremely canon with KOTOR 1? Also, the Star Forge was far more than a factory.  So what else lies hidden within the Eternity Vault?

But they are designing the raids based around story, like the eternity vault is a continuation after completing the World Arc of Belsavis and reaching max level. The thing they said is that they are implimenting puzzles and boss mechanics that are very different from you standard MMO raids.

@crezyte0wnz They haven't stated how it works specifically. But I am assuming based on a previous quest that had a similar situation (it was a Jedi Consular quest on Tython), that the walls are going to fall around you and you physically have to dodge them.

When LucasArts forced Obsidian to finish the game in about a year? Lots of things were cut from the game, including an entire planet (two actually). It is said that if only LucasArts allowed Obsidian to work longer, the game would be legendary.

@AncientAeon LucasArts is made up of idiots, but the people at Obsidian, knowing they cannot finish the game, included voice acting, modules etc. on the game disk. The game doesn't use these files. So modders are actually developing a restoration content mod (version 1.7 is out, 1.8 will be soon). The game is now close to legendary. This is strictly a restored content mod. One other team restores the unfinished planet M4-78 that will be compatible with this mod. Go to deadlystream com for info
