    Thanks for the beautiful music.

  • Superb, beautiful and inspiring. My hat's off to you, sir.

  • Thank you! My hat is off to the composer and original performer of this beautiful tune...

  • It is incredible! It sounds like an orchestra but I see that you play only the guitar. Thanks!

  • Thanks!!

  • wow!!! nice, espectacular esta version, !!! 5stars!!

  • Thanks! Among my many videos/covers this is really one of my favorites (the original version, I mean).

  • That was absolutely gorgeous. I sat listening/watching completely transfixed. Great performance and arrangement. Thanks.

Wish I lived nearby so I could come hear you play in person. You must be the workingest guitar player in Ann Arbor, or at least one of them...

  • Thanks! I play at The Earle Restaurant every Wednesday, if you ever pass through...

  • good!!

  • Great!!

Hammor Shtaim (try the hebrew version).

  • wow! this is the kind of video that makes me want to improve more on my guitar.

  • This sounds just fantastic. Been listening a lot to Alan Parson through the years. This particular song is not a favorite, but your version here is extremely enjoyable!

Love your tone as well. Great work!

  • Thanks, still working on that elusive tone...

  • I was thinking on doig a cover of this song after being here with "Don´t stand so close to me" and I was amase.

    5 stars

  • well done and thanks for a nice music night cap.

  • Superb! Standing O for this very talented musician. I guarantee Alan himself has listened to this and I'm guessing he's smiling with admiration.

  • Dude, this playing is FANTASTIC, love you style and choice of songs, I was expecting something hoaky, but man I WAS IMPRESSED. I play guitar, bass and flute and am rarely impressed but this was just amazing!

  • WOW JAKE,,,,, Beyond BRILLIANT! KEEPON STRUMMIN.................Dallas

  • Gorgeous rendition.. thank you!

  • This is one of my favorite songs, and playing guitar is my favorite passtime. I never imagined trying to play this. All I can say is wow.

  • I come here for the 2nd time and just want to say that I like it so much.. You synthesized in an instrument bass, piano, voice and guitar. And did enchanting jazz harmonizations, yet remaining faithful to the original chord scheme.

  • Thank you very much! For me, playing these tunes comes from an emotional place, as opposed to an exercise in harmony which is also fun, because the songs are meaningful to me, I hope this comes through in the music. Thanks so much!

  • it does. superb job. you are inspiring (and discouraging as well to all of us simple, mortal guitar players...;))

  • Wonderful, thank you. Five stars

  • Thank you for sharing - you are very talented.

  • Hi Jake, thanx for your private message! A very pleasurable and original cover. Yes of course as you say this is a jazz cover of a rock song but.. APP music has been readapted in many ways by some of its same members, and, as you probably know, Ian Bairnson, the group's guitarist is a jazzman, so I think he would appreciate this a lot. The jazz guitar sound goes well with the song's feeling. Gonna share this with some fans..

  • Wow! Very very nice, please do more like these? Thanks Jake, and of course Dan.

  • Beautiful Rendition ! 5 stars

  • 5 stars of course!

  • thank you dan for sending

    grate music..

    adil

  • That was nice, thank you danbergam for introducing it.

  • :-D

I've been listening in rapture, sometimes with my jaws falling, sometimes smiling...

Not only you've respected, as you always do, the feeling, the mood of the song... not only you've greatly ruled (as usual) those bass line/rhythm parts/melody... but you've also given to such a classic a new, swinging life!

    Flawless.

5* (50* wouldn't be enough), adding it to my favorites... and sharing it with my contacts!

    ;-)

Thank you, Jake, for sharing your talent with all of us!

  • Yes Dan, a very good and original cover!

  • I was sure than many ones would have enjoyed it as much as I did, G!

    :-D

  • Very good arrangement.Great tune/playing etc..

  • Great arrangement! I used to listen to that album a lot, definitely one of my all time favorites. Excellent playing as always!

  • Another great tune! I've been thinking about picking up this CD for a while. I think you finally convinced me!

    Thanks Jake!
