Guy is correct ... as an Aussie, we look at this film and we see Colonial History, NOT a Western ... but the tag Western is attached because Americans can only relate to it through the prism of their own films that cover similar content.

He was awesome in Priscilla, so I've decided to look into more of his work. I'm impressed. He seems like a great guy on top of being an excellent actor.

Guy is such an under rated actor, he has managed to turn out some amazing performances so far, he was brilliant in memento, and def turned it up in the proposition, i really respect the fact that hes managed to stay out of the lime light. Surprised he hasnt received a nomination yet... def a better actor than crowe
i love westerns, espiecaly clint east wood films, i thought this was alot slower you no not much gun slinging, i was always waiting for it to get going, but for some reason and i dont no why... i fucking love this film the story the music the charachters and i think guy pearce plays his part exellent, i just wish the story went on longer if you no what i mean.
No, don't think Guy looks that much like Viggo M. Both really good looking fellows, but think Guy is cuter. Think they are like brothers as far as caliber of actors. Both exception. They are both 'for real' actors. Got real integrity on approaching a character. Went to see 'The Road' recently and was surprised at the end to see Guy Pearce in it. I didn't recognize him or Robert Duval at first. It was like, "is that . . . no, it can't be.. " But it was GP! Cool surprise, good film.
