  • Hi Veronica, Thank you for sharing. Very cute idea!

  • I just found your videos and want to thank you so much for sharing this! I am going to make my granddaughters bookmarks for Valentine's Day. You're so thorough, interesting, and fun to listen to. Thank you again!

  • @IAMGONE2DOGS, I tried to reply to this shortly after your post but YT would not let me. Got the dreaded error message. Wanted to say that your granddaughters are very fortunate to have a crafty granny who will make some adorable bookmarks for them. It will definitely make reading a lot more fun.

  • I love this project. I am a teacher also and I think this is a great project for my students. I just purchased chapter books for the entire class so this is absolutely perfect.

  • @proudmommy702, they will LOVE it!!!! Chapter books, how exciting.

    Have fun with the project.

    Vee

  • You are really put alot of yourself into making bookmarks for your class.

  • @bjwlsn1, it was a labor of love.

  • Really nice, I'm sure the kids will love them...great idea. Thanks for showing us how to make them....

  • @grammydglc, you should do some with your grandsons. put it all together and have them decorate the top piece. This will help use up some of your paper stash...lol.

  • Those are SO pretty! And what a GREAT idea! Gina doesn't have Valentine's yet....I may have to steal this idea for her class....I'd have to use a different cart though. I don't have A Child's Year. Now I just need to find a craft to do w/ the kids when I go in for their party! TFS, Heather

  • @ThePaperCastle, steal away!!!! If you can get them for a good price, those small artist canvas pieces are a great format for them. the kids could draw and paint a pic--might get a bit messy though...lol or they could collage pics from mags. maybe with a what love means to me theme or the things i love. just a few ideas flying around.

    GL with your project.

  • @ThePaperCastle, or how about a door hanger for them to decorate? The plastic ones are not very expensive. That would be easy and quick also. hopefully something they can and will use.

  • Very cute idea TFS

  • Hey there! I just picked up that same stamp! I am going to use this idea for my youth group. I have saves a few other tutorials on this bookmark, but never made them. Your video has sparked an immediate desire to get it done! We will be meeting on the 29th after a long hiatus! I have many ideas of things to give as "just for you gifts," this Is a definite! Even more so because the things u used I have most of> God Bless you and Zac!

    Thanks again

  • @JTVIRTUEOUS, thank you so much. I am on a roll with these things. I want to make loads of them. They are practical and very useful. I can see them for Mother's Day or for a church bible study group. What a way to hold your place. You could print out scriptures and let that be the focal point. Surrounded by foliage or flowers. Ok...I need to be in my craft room now. You have sparked another bookmark.

    Hugs,

    Vee

  • Very nice or should I say cute? Love them, Zach is a lucky little kid to have someone make these for him to give his friends.

  • Oh, these are so pretty. Wish Zackery was in my class. I hope the kids appreciate all the hard work that went into them.

  • @HJB92243, we made cards for a student who had a tragedy happen to her family and I think I have made some card makers out of a few of them. Hope to share those in a later Vee-dio. They love the scarves I made for Christmas, Hanukkah and Just Because. They are an appreciative bunch. What grade do you teach?

    Vee

  • These are adorable!! Your kids are going to love them...I wish I had, had a teacher like you when I was in school!!! You are terrific.

  • @Tceeme, thanks for that lovely comment and I hope that my students like having me. I try to have as much fun as possible while filling their brains with information. Maybe that is why I go home exhausted most days. I try to pack in as much as possible.

    TFW and commenting.

    Vee

  • These were to cute. Love them. I am going to make one for myself. I read like crazy. TFS

  • @Boaringnot, you and me both. I need a few for myself as I tend to have a few books going at a time and at least one mag.

    TFW,

    Vee
