I'll agree with you here, because that's what I think also. They lower the mic volume in ABM during the high note, though in Phoenix you can hear a crack in her voice during both notes, so it's live, just with some background. Power of Love, IDK..sounds the same as always..

No, it will NEVER sound like the album version. She doesn't lip to album versions of anything: that would make it obvious that she's lipping. She lips to pre-recorded tracks made just for live shows. Quite a few of her "greatest hits" get this treatment.

If you find the performance of this song where she was sick, I think it was in Arizona [??] you can hear both her and the track start the big note, then get blended together. And yeah, I'd venture a guess that yeah, almost every artist lips during live shows. It's much more common than folks realize.
