wow hands down tour is better. i have both phones in front of me right now. my tour battery door is solid, no sound on the top like yours does. verizon is much better than tmobile aswell. never dropped a call, never lost reception. ITS A FUCKING PHONE, who cares if u can't text/search the web while on a call. u can't get wifi because its a global phone. your phone won't work out of the country. goto mexico and redo this video please... but thank you for your opinion.

i love my tour. i got mine back in july & it had a few problems, like the wiggly battery door, until i dropped it on the road, & the screen completley blanked out from the crack & i got another one. i got it in september, i realized the battery door didnt wiggle at all. i dont have the plasticy sound you describe up by the standby key. & with verzion, I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD A DROPPED CALL. even when i have 1 bar. NO DROPPED CALLS. but bummer with lack of data usage during calls.

the only time i drop calls on my tour is when i hang up on ppl

and on the tour u can be on the phone and text XD and im doing it right now

the only thing thats wrong with the tour which might not go for u is that at times (also rarely) on the phone sounds a lil shaky

Tour has no wifi. If you are with sprint or verizon I would wait for the tour 2 9650 should be out soon. Or if you can id get the bold 9700 i think thats the best blackberry to date

It's obvious that he is very biased towards the Tour. I don't have the issues with the bad built quality. Slightly anal retentive. The Tour does all of the things I want it to do.

I think...and this is my opinion as well as a suggestion. It's best to give a review about the pro's and con's of each phone and let someone who is in the market make up their OWN mind.

The 8900 is a great phone and so is the Tour. Unbiased reviews are the best way to go....

Yes, the Tour will play YouTube videos. You can go to the YouTube website by using the Tour internet browser. Find the video you want to view (i.e. I searched your video on how to make a Monkey's Fist keychain) and I was able to watch it from my phone.

the tour on verizon is no comparison to the sprint tour...sprint has a better network and I get full bars every where I am. Checked out that plastic push in you were talking about at the top of the tour and I didnt hear anything the only problem I had with mine is the trackball. Hope sprint gets the 8900 or the 8530. Great review though man

Yeah I heard the standalone battery time on the tour was CRAP. I'd go with the curve, becuase if you pay a phone bill, you want to have a PHONE. If the tour loses signal strenght and misses calls, then all the bells and whistles it has means squat.

You're in denial. This is 2009 which means that any device that can rightfully call itself a smartphone will have wi-fi. The Tour's saving grace is that it's dual mode CDMA/GSM.

The tour is a cross between the bold and the 8900. It does everything that the curve does but has more memory. That alone makes the phone that much better then the 8900. And the screen is slightly bigger then the 8900. It even looks better then the 8900. Its the best blackberry on the market, trust me. Don't trust this idiot that filmed this video.

The T-Mobile 8900 has UMA calling which means you could use your T-Mobile SIM overseas while avoiding insane roaming charges if you use UMA. Otherwise you'll need a local SIM card.

I've got an 8900 and am bewildered that the reviewer says he can go 2 days on the 8900 with "heavy usage" without having to recharge. I can barely go a day without a recharge. I do use my phone for music, data (including twitter) in addition to regular phone usage tho.

the curve has horrible build quality. the keys make a terrible plastic clickity sound which is very annoying, apart from it being on one of the worst networks. On paper, the Tour is a better phone. A side by side comparison, the Tour is the better phone. But this video is just biased. Don't take his word for it or mine, go to the shops and compare for yourself.
