  • Can we apply it to real-world life-size weapon systems too?

  • Nice work

  • So childish!

  • fake and gay

  • @MrandMrsQuickscope So are you.

  • dear santa.....

  • good for hunting the noob or geek

  • good for hunting thieves

  • @whatsem0 youre emo you faggot

  • @FuxUMuttZ He may be an emo faggot, but he has a wiimote guided rocket launcher.

  • @Jackalakadingdong no he dont buddy

  • @FuxUMuttZ ok, no he doesn't, but he does have an asus laptop that looks like a mac.

  • @FuxUMuttZ Nice grammar, kid! Is that all you could come up with? I make a relevant comment about a video and all you have to say is "you're emo you faggot" (Whatever that has to do with anything... ) Another case of American Education going down the drains!

  • @whatsem0 asucka ona mahh ballssss

  • @FuxUMuttZ like I said...

  • @whatsem0 butthEd

  • Be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits

  • FAKE!

  • @DoxyaYagami REAL!

  • my teacher has one of these - he enjoy spending the School's money - got a department X-box now.

  • This is a Bluetooth connection the remote has there.

    REAL.

  • STAGED AND BICURIOUS

  • @UrSoMeanBoss authentic and heterosexual

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • epic room protectionXDXD

  • fakeer then obamas promise

  • @herogna It's not fake you can use a wii remote to control pc programs if you are not a big noob ...

  • @herogna shut up troll

  • @herogna And this Children is an example of a guy who dosent know shit in the domain of IT :)

  • @jediraslan13 the worst is that he fooled alot of people... the easy way of explaining how this is fake:

the wii remote uses lasers and a sensor to find out what direction you are pointing the device.

  • @herogna yes i know that, but he managed to make an interface between it and the computer, and certain movements of the wiiMote caused certain macros to be executed on the computer, so he wasnt controlling the Tank directly, the computer was just enterpreting what the wii remote was doing and sending the signals to the tank

So you can call it part fake... because he wasnt controlling the tank directly with the wii

  • @herogna It also has an accelerometer inside it to detect tilting, think steering for mariokart on the wii. You can easily connect a wiimote to a PC using bluetooth and then write a program to use the data to send instructions to a microcontroller in the rocket thing.

  • @jediraslan13, and you don't know proper grammar and punctuation! When you type something, read it, THEN submit it... just read what you wrote out loud "And this Children is an example of a guy who doesn't know shit in the domain of IT"

  • @whatsem0 Hey, guess what? I'm not a native english speaker, and yet I do a lot better then most native english speakers when it comes to writing or reading, even if my punctuation and/or grammar is flawed. But when it comes to IT, or any other domain, it can be quite annoying to see a person say "Fake" or "Fake and gay" just because they know they could never accomplish something like that. And yes I can say my english isn't the best, but I am at least aware of that and I am trying to fix it.

  • bullshit you ant do that with a wii controller

  • Now i need some trails and a wooden cart so i could slide this on it and when someone comes to my computer they would get a headshot

  • @1life1left Except that the readme states that you can't use glovepie for weapons, or if you're Israeli. But hey, who the cares when you control a rocket launcher that will fuck him up?

  • this is why the wii wins.

  • @blobrockster. Da fuck ? Put redneck in front of american. .... Wait. Is it possible to have say. Like. A redneck in every race? Just asking who ever views .

  • @ricepeoples

I agree with you. Hopeless rednecks are in every place on earth.

  • lol bad fake...

  • @Bilaltore um ever hear of joytokey?

  • NOW YOUR PLAYING WITH POWER!

  • FAKE! He's just controlling it with the comp and holding a wii remote in the other hand

    Proof:

Hes using the same product/toy found here: Search, "Dream Cheeky USB Circus Cannon & Missile Launcher"

  • @Yellowsnowin That's a lame reason to say it's fake. I suggest you learn about Bluetooth technology and a program called GlovePIE. I'm impressed you were able to show what he purchased... That being said you could purchase any number of USB devices and potentially control it with a Wii remote, granted you know how to program it to do so!

  • @Yellowsnowin That's not much to go on. The fact that you don't know what you're talking about, however, is hilarious! I'm glad you know how to look up the USB Missle Launcher he used. What you don't have knowledge on is the fact that the Wii Remote uses Bluetooth, Bluetooth talks to the laptop, the laptop has a program called GlovePIE, GlovePIE is an emulator used for Wii-Mote programming, and the emulator then talks to the missle launcher via it's corresponding USB port!

  • that is gtreat for wake up pranks dont you think ? ,, oh please please upload a video with a wake up prank

  • definetly not the thing to use if you're going for stealth

  • Whats so fake about it? I can do this lol Don't call it fake because you don't know how to do it

  • got one i was learning how to use it and shot myself scared the shit out of me cause i forgot where i put the damn thing

  • so fake no way

  • I love how people can call this "fake". Glovepie actually do let you do this.

Some of you have also pointed out that the launcher would move all of the time because no one can hold it 100% flat. Most likely he have programmed it to not move before he have turned the wiimote a bit.

  • @ThisIsntMyPassword Nice grammar and spelling. I'm very well away of the capabilities of GlovePIE having used it before. I understand it COULD be real, however, given the specific camera angle, you can't say for sure he's controlling the USB Launcher with the Wii-Mote. However, you could say he's controlling the launcher with the computer, but keeps the camera off the laptop so there's no way of knowing... Just saying, it's 50/50. I recommend a new video with a wider shot of EVERYTHING!!!

  • fake

  • that's a fake... you can see on the computer... you can only remote this from you computer

  • @cccpbratwa Like I've said to others, GlovePIE lets you communicate the Wii-Mote to the computer(via its Bluetooth capabilities). The computer then converts the signal, using GlovePIE(which is a programmable emulator for the wii remote), which then communicates to the USB Missle Launcher via its USB cable. Learn about things before you go and just say "fake".

  • nice if i had some sort of weapons designing program thing i would hire you lol

  • how much is it

  • @fx3650 On thinkgeek its like $30

  • its not run by wii its run by the computer program

  • You are just moving it with your mouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks fake, nobody can hold a wiimote 100%horizontal...

it should be turning around whole the time

  • @SODrefixer its not fake its glovepie what that does is take almost anything connected to it and then turns it into button presses or something so he wrote a program that takes the wii mote (which you can connect to a computer with bluetooth) and turns it into somewhat of a wireless keyboard and that controlls the rockets :)

  • wow!! that is so SHITE!

  • @StruanSkye hum... do you mean ''shit''

  • schon mit der maus gemacht ;)

  • Thats Cool

  • mach mal bitte 2 hände im bild dann ist das echt

  • DAA IS ECHT! sowas is einfach zu programmieren!

  • da kann ja auch nochn 2. sitzen xD

  • Learn to code, then you will realize it is entirely possible...

  • Haha.... by far the most uncool thing i have ever heard

  • Comment removed

  • holy crap thats cool

  • does take a while to shoot though but still nice made

  • You know, the Wiimote controls the computer which in other hand controls the Rocket Launcher, done using Glovepie. Totally not fake.

  • are they usb rocket launchers wireless?

  • watch the video and look for the wire which you can see in the WHOLE video -.-

  • Some of them are wireless, but the cheaper ones (like the one he used) just have a USB cable.

  • @bobsaggitfan not xD

  • you don't deserve the hater comments.

kind of a lame vid though dont you think?

  • You just said he doesn't deserve "hater" comments, yet you called his video lame. Nice one dude. If you think it's kind of a "lame" video then why even comment? Seems to pointless.

  • well its not like I have anything against the video, I just thought it was a little "pointless".

the reason i commented is because I didn't like the fact that everyone was being a jerk towards him.

  • seek a life;p

  • you use the keys on the computer and fakes the wii controll. Get a life!!

  • you dont have life

  • FAKE! he bought the geek guys toy and he thinks he is cool cause hes a FN' wii nerd, lol

  • fake he fuckin controls it with his computer

  • fake

  • FAKE

  • very cool, but NOBODY BUY THESE ROCKET LAUNCHERS. they are worth 10% of thier PRICE. THEY SUCK COCKS

  • look useless fucking shit

  • congradulations you have succesfully wasted abunch of money on something useless

  • Your parents feel the same way.

  • yeah as a matter of fact they were watching this video with me and we all made an agreemant

  • Where can I buy that rocket launcher thing

  • see carefully, the rockets are made of a very soft material, it cannot hurt you. but can scare you to death with a sudden attack=) could be useful to guard your PC

  • fag

  • Ah its all fun till someone loses an eye!

  • omg you r coool

  • just like with araknotak

  • awesome, you just need to put some pins at the end of the projectiles. set up a motion detector and youve got an awesome home defense weapon

  • This is real, and it's not too special.

Glovepie will let you control anything with a wii mote, and this guy just made a script to control the app that controls the usb thing.

    Not fake, and easy.

  • Not fake, but the wii thing is fake.... the launcher haves a camera on it wich you can see from the pc, hes controlling it with the mouse i think.

  • its obviously real, whoever is saying fake doesn't understand how Glovepie works.

  • FAKE!!!!!!!!

  • fake !

  • kewl

  • totally fake

  • fake

  • stupid troll.

  • lol you can tell its programmed

  • So

Mind explaining how you can tell?

    Because this is real..

  • at the beginning you can see the programme that you programme things to do like a robot ,

  • how did you program it

  • говно

  • lol, CSULB FTW!!!

  • These Wiimote scripts are fake. =P

    N00b!

  • Cooool!! Maybe I will learn that when I'm older =)

  • Why would he fake this Wiimote scripts come ready in the glovepie install

  • its fake at 0:04 you see the remote he will use to control it on the laptop. he pretends to move it with the wiimote, and at 0:35 you can see the thing moving still but the wiimote is on the table

  • dont see why he'd need to fake it, its so easy to do

  • maybe he programed it to do that use your head

  • use common sense bro

  • ok whatever it is a possiblity that when he pressed that button it was supposed to go to both sides...

  • grats im starting to learn how to do that shit 2

  • must of had took a shit load of scripting

  • fake. he can contral it on the pc when he move the wii mote.

  • stupid and fake

  • how can u say its fake?

  • because he's an idiot

  • some people have a life and girlfriends.... some build things like this....

  • he didnt build it, he bought it. The box is in the backround.....

  • how do you know he is not a robber?

  • lol

  • some people cant read...look at the description. hes going to college for this kind of thing...

  • @MRR0000WIE Oh come on, Australians are Awesome.

  • @MRR0000WIE Hey arsehole unfortunately you're obviously American because of the amount of intellect you have. Go fuck yourself and get your obese mother a zip code. By the way McDonalds is giving out free cheeseburgers so go stuff yourself.

  • @blobrockster im american :(

does that make you a douchebag?

cause not all americans are unintelligible.

if you put "redneck" in front it would suit it better

  • @MRR0000WIE Fuck you you dumb shit. Aussies will one day rule the world.

  • @MRR0000WIE dude that is just fckin sad...the man who died from that stingray attack was a very fckin awesome aussie aka Steve Irwin

  • thats so fucking cool now just modify it to shoot real rockets! WOOT

  • where do you get them from

  • L0L NOOB

  • where can you by one??

  • he made it

  • pol que ria

  • lol @ all the people calling this fake.

This takes an IQ of about 10 to use, and maybe 40 to set up.

Since you seem to be below these numbers, I will remind you that the video's info text, where it claims they used GlovePIE wich is designed specificly for wiimote input to your computer.

and in the video, it clearly displays the retail box of the USB Rocket Launcher.

Using these two things together takes the same skill level as plugging in your mouse and installing its drivers.

  • i know right!

  • noob omg

  • so, what the point of this? Targeting house flys?

  • if it was fake, great job a syncronizing the movement of the wiimote to the movement of the turret.

  • i think its fake too

  • I do too...... Because all he has to do is keep one hand on the computer mouse or whatever and control it there and tilt the wii remote the same direction as he does it.

  • Sorry if it's a double post. Think I clicked on discard by accident.

    Nothing fake about this :\

Anyways, this is the common thing that programmer newbies use. And programing it is relatively easy. I haven't tried it myself yet, but I will once I buy myself some awesome USB missile launcher.

  • This could very well be fake, and I think it is, but I have no proof, so I won't make false acusations.

  • that was so gay

  • I wont this :(

  • this takes next to zero schooling to do. it is not fake. the program is called GlovePIE and it is designed specificly to take input from the wiimote.

He used a retail 'usb rocket launcher' wich probably runs off the keyboard.

using these two things together is no harder then plugging in your mouse and installing the driver.

  • I couldn't agree more!

  • to bad the camera isnt pointing at the PC. He used the PC to control the Rocket

  • Actually there already exist programs with which you can make a wiimote function on your pc. So making it work with the launcher would pretty much be like setting keybindings differently.

  • this is probably what north korea is planning on shooting at the US... hahaha

  • yea it definitely can be fake but college students do learn how to do this sort of thing all the time in the computer science studies.

If it was not fake then he impressively had to wright the c++ program that took input from the remote took control of the mouse then clicked the toys program for him.

  • no offense but all r kinda of dumb, obviously hes hiding the cpu monitor which could only mean hes using one hand with the cpu mouse to really control it, and pretending ti control with the wii remote

  • Cool!

  • people, i said it was fake but that don't mean ti is! i haven't seen anything for a Wiimote that u can hook up to the computer yet, so it could be true! it looks fake because i don't see 2 hands. if i find anything for a wiimote to go to the computer, i will say it is real, okay?
