People talk about how the show got worse or what have you, but I don't see how anyone can find these early seasons nearly as funny as the later seasons... it's not just me, listen to the audience, there's not nearly as much laughter or applause

I'd ne say she was out of her depth, but rather that the style of comedy changed when Colin and Ryan became regulars. You can tell by the choice of games (by the time Colin and Ryan were regulars on the UK version, 'Authors' was all but absent)
