Keeping the moon/ this lullaby Get guy points (Ioved Norm and Dexter). Lock and Key/just listen/Dreamland get points for seriousness for includingissues such as abuse or rape (JL gets Xtra points for eating disorders. I love how much of a crossover author Dessen is. I'm not an adolescent anymore, but I still find so many elements of her books that I can relate to. She has a voice that defines the generation of young authors. Lock & Key is a personal favorite.

Sarah Dessen is a great writer! I loved Just Listen, The Truth about Forever, Someone like you, and others too. I still need to read this lullaby, keeping the moon, and that summer. Are these ones good? THe only boook of hers I wasnt amazed with was Dreamland, and I'm not sure why, but the others I loved. Someone like you made me cry a lot, really all her books did. <3
